I cancelled my initial interview after watching other teacher's videos because I was like "WOAH, I would be soo drained if I had to act that fake all day" but now I am going to submit my demo knowing you can be a good teacher without being so grossly animated!

Sooo... after watching so many of Erin's videos, I decided Erin was WORTH the switch. My previous 'coach' was not interactive at all. I started the process all over just so Erin could be my coach, and so far I've had ZERO regrets. I did the Demo interview just as she recommended and I passed. Now I'm prepping for my 1st Mock Class tomorrow. Wish me luck!

So I started teaching VIPKid in September and was planning on doing the whole "verify in EVERYTHING" thing, but after watching your video, I saw that you COULD get booked up with just the limited certification. Within being hired a month, I am fully booked 4hrs/day (my teaching goal) and have several regulars. I might certify level 4 when my regulars get there, but for now I'm happy with just 2&3! Thanks for showing me this could work!!
Hi Erin I need your advice. Is it wise to stick with one online company or should I sign with 2 or more platforms? I am a beginner. I noticed that teachers don't do well at the beginning and their earning go up slowly. How to survive as a starter? I am a non native Tefl certified teacher with a bachelor's diploma planning to make 1500-2500$ a month

I was starting to get more and more anxious because I don't have the money for a lot of props and toys-- it feels like a lot of the videos are getting oddly competitive about that kind of thing. Nice to see this can be done successfully without crazy production costs or hours of arts and crafts.
TH-cam can get kinda flashy lol. There are lots of VIPKid teachers out there who are even more minimal than I am. For the hiring process they need to see that you know how to use a variety of some different types of props, but once you’re actually teaching you can pretty much do your own thing.
Honestly you gave some of the best advice for the demo and interview. Wish you would do a Mock 1 X and my country. Thanks I did the heart thing with the beg leg and the interviewer loved it.

I use an accordion folder to keep them separated! Definitely join and reach out in my Facebook group for hired/working teachers (VIPKID Teacher Q & A). I’m on there all the time and others may have the same concerns as you and it’s such a great community! Just make sure you answer the 3 questions it asks you when you join for teacher verification & access! :D m.facebook.com/groups/vipkidteacherqa
Wow, I`m definitely sharing this video with all my stay-at-home Mommy friends. You and your videos are amazing. Another pro, you don`t need to change diapers or deal with unhappy parents about events that are out of your control (like a parent complained about me losing the child`s scarf. I put the scarf in the locker but maybe someone took it while I was in class with the kids. The director even found it but then it went missing again????!!!)

But some of the questions I have will be is.... What are types of working hours does vipkids interacts with teachers? What are the other flexibilities/restrictions working as a vipkids teacher? I would love to travel and teach at the same time.

You mentioned you go to a future classroom to check this. I get a notification that settings/camera cannot be opened until 10min before class.
