Just playing on the computer today I suddenly had the theme in my had. Glad you uploaded the intro to this fantastic game - How many hours and days have I spent going on Feindfahrt... ;) Wolfpack was really great for its time - and still today, gameplay-wise. Simple and fun!
I had been hoping someone would post this for years! I haven't seen or played this game in about 13 years, but this song has been stuck in my head all that time. I want someone to try to remaster this song with modern audio. i think it would be epic if it sounded orchestrated.
Just today this happened to me - suddenly got the Wolfpack-theme playing in my head. I wonder how it'd sound if somebody amped it up for today's standards. Orchestra would - of course - be nice as well!
I had the version on floppy disk. It was a lot of fun but didn't include the animation, so this video was entirely new to me. I always loved the theme song though. I'd love it if there was an orchestral version or something.
This brings back such fun memories. I spent uncountable hours playing Wolfpack. This game was one of the old games that helped get my IT career started. Nothing motivates a gamer to learn about how computers work like a game that won't quit run right. Like all of those games back then, it's too bad the in-game graphics look nothing like the intro. I recently found an excellent, pre-configured DOS Box version of it at www.old-games.com/download/4501/wolfpack. They also have most of the other great legacy games we remember from that period. If anyone is interested in great modern sub sims, the current Silent Hunter series has really evolved into everything that we used to wish Wolfpack could be. Enjoy!
I had this version of the game as well as the Amiga version.I bought the CD version long after I had stopped using my Amiga.I really wanted to play Wolfpack again and was amazed by this intro. But the CD game kept crashing on my Win98 PC.Sadly, I wasn't too knowlegable about how to troubleshoot computers problems back then and decided put the disc to one side.I haven't tried to get Wolfpack working for over a decade now,I think I should though.
I was about ten when "playing" the game. So I only kept sinking everything I saw, no matter what it was. I didnt really play it in the sense of the word...
I've only had a floppy version of this and I guess it didn't have that opening video because I really don't remember it, I remember the music very clearly though.
amazing how sometimes a tune you've heard over 20 years ago suddenly pops back up in your mind
Brings back such good memories!
Played this game for innumerable hours in the late 90's.A thought about it popped in my mind today and i had to look this up.

GermanNightmare1976 wish someone with the skill and assets would make it happen!

I remember once that my 486 + Soundblaster didn't synch the action properly and I got to hear the end of the song. Good times.
i love you so much......i played this a lot as a kid.
Hey, thanks for the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's such a cool intro!
America sinking like boats in Wolfpack.
😂 I remember doing a shooting Gallery with the Torpedos in the U-Boat, and watching the Tankers cook off!
Spent many enjoyable hours with this game!

the company of best graphics and weirdest OST's of its era :D comanche: maximum overkills victory, defeat and menu themes though ❤
I spent hours playing this
I play this video on repeat whenever I play Silent Hunter V, just because this was the game I grew up hunting convoys in.

Awesome memories ;)

this intro gave me nightmares and thalassophobia as a kid...scariest intro ever.

I was 11, but yes I enjoyed surfacing and blowing away the Tankers with my Deck guns as a U-Boat.

I believe this was only on the CD version! It would make sense, as the video file would not have fit on a floppy!
Блин, вспоминаю как офигенно этот ролик выглядел в 90ые.
Это было здорово!
Could you post the DOS line commands to start and run Wolfpack? Thanks.
Good old times. The animation of the U-Boat and the destroyers are awful though :D The main guns on the destroyer are turning like crazy.
I have a copy I'm going to sell on ebay
