Lol Uncle Ben is the slightly hardass teacher that you think is trying to insult you at first but ends up being an absolutely amazing mentor and helping you unlock the secrets for yourself by pointing you in a direction that helps your progress grow. Thanks Ben. You are a huge reason for my guitar renaissance and certainly the main reason why I have made more progress on guitar in the last four months than I ever had in 10 years of wankery. Now I always have something to be thinking about, practicing, or trying to unlock on the guitar neck. You made a guitar neck a “big, friendly place“ for me Ben, something that I never felt like over an entire decade of playing guitar. Thank you for what you and channels like yours do for the love of this instrument

I feel the same. I stopped having guitar lessons when I got into university and stopped practising. So I've been playing for 10 years, but I feel like I have the same knowledge and skills for 5 or 6. I don't have the money to get guitar lessons with the same teacher again, but I got the time and Uncle Ben is definitely helping me with my "guitar renaissance".

I've been working on intervals lately and this really helps. Yes I did get caught up with you calling 5Th a minor 3rd or vice-versa but I see how you explained it. Just to look at the steps instead of the numbers on a fretboard or even the intervals makes it simpler. It's pretty cool how the guitar is coming alive once you know the notes on the fretboard and intervals and what makes a major or minor chord is the third.
Thanks for the I practice my tapping tonight when I get home. You're an awesome player and great teacher.

Best lesson and explanation of tapping out there! 👍🏻👍🏻 I was certainly guilty of the scavenger hunt angle which was basically mental torture 😄 Brilliant lesson Ben 🙂🤘🏻
