    It's beautiful watching black men converse with each other. The history lesson was awesome. Respek to Richard and the crew. Nice one

    Fantastic post Mr Garvey once again! Was so great to see Richie Blackwood as growing up he was always classed as the British Eddie Murphy and really should have been a world wide superstar! I loved his chat show also. Keep up the great work bro. 😎💶🍸👏

    This is the history of British acting and film making that has been lost to a generation. They have no idea the amazing artistic contribution that black artist/talent made to British TV/cinema and how it influenced the U.K. culture. So we’ll done bringing it to your audience.

    Inspiring for new actors and enlightening for people who have followed your careers. I would implore you to do more even though the pool of black British actors is probably as big as the kids pool at Butlins but still DO MORE!!!

      Yes, definitely one of our greatest talents. Loved that brother. I once had a 20 minute conversation with him on the phone for a project that never materialised. He was a great great talent and is truly missed. He should never be forgotten.

    Lenny Henry sold out with PC ganja & his dog! I remember the ‘Posse’ & the Bibi crew

      Bruh can you lot try to think rationally before criticising a legend like Lenny. Put yourself in his shoes in the 1970s and 80s you are one of the top black talents. Think about the pressure from everyone and everywhere. Do you have any idea what it was like back then?
      This man was talented represented as best as he could at a time when none of the gate keepers looked like him and he had to negotiate as best as was possible to maintain his visibility to his audience. There was no TH-cam bank then. If you did not have a show on tv or consistently toured your career was dead. It’s easy to criticise and call a man of his calibre a sell out, what we’re you doing back then to push black British excellence on the media ?

      That’s why he married Dawn French too right? z. I was born in the 1960’s too@@lovedog401 I was the only black child in my nursery and many other institutions after that, I know what it was like back then as my parents chose to take me out of the child modelling scene. Lenny sold out…period!

    • @lovedog401
      @lovedog401 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheSheriffess bro let go of the fact that he married a white woman. It’s got nothing to do with the great contributions of black talent in showbiz U.K.. this is why all these new arrivals to this country have no idea how of the contributions black British in majority west Indian and Africans made to the British cinema and tv. Some would rather destroy all achievements for something as meaningless as he married a white woman. Who give a crap. Even our music accomplishments go on recognised because we do not shout from the rooftop and spread the word of our great black talent from back in the day. Groups like Loose Ends, Soul 2 Soul where pioneering music artist. the US rebranded all of that and gave us The Fugees. You are old enough to remember all of this. These young kids today believe they are the first to do it, when in fact many greats did it before them. It is our responsibility to spread that information far an loud about what black British talent accomplished back in the day. You should be doing the same also regardless who married a white woman 😀

    We didn’t hear much from Samuel Ankrah. It’s important to understand the process of how the younger generation feel about the industry.
