First of all this is a gold mine, learned 4 concepts from 1 video, next It requires a driver to run. Could anyone please suggest me if there is just a barebone latching IC that doesn't require any driver I meant My latches will be initiated with physical switches , yes I can make that with 555 or just 2 transistors, but I need a compact solution to feed to a uC. Max latched output required 4 and inputs are too.
parapos i have to do that all the time : ) but this guy should donate his brain to science, not because he so brainy but simply put(Shit i just realized what i typed there) he thinks of things no one else would even consider.. now thats proper brains.. : )
This was a very nice explanation. Very clear. Thanks. Do you know of any solution for addressible latch over 1-wire interface? Or is it better to use a micro controller?
I haven't researched the one wire stuff yet, so I can't tell you (yet). If I were you, I'd check out a community like the AllAboutCircuits site and ask there.
only just remembered i didn't watch earlier. that nicely done now!(not me, your video)

Thanks for this video!
Great vid, perfectly explained!
The 74LS259 work the same?
