So much pressure and responsibility on one so young, but she shoulders it ALL with such grace and good humour. I don't think I would have had the bottle to address the UN at just 16 or to meet world leaders, but to champion such a basic human right from such a young age is incredibly inspiring! May the Yousafzais live long & prosper!
Clean hands and a pure heart, that's what the world need! I know that out there there are many girls and boys as Malala! I can't believe how the evil can try stopping our youths education... Malala raised her voice, now she won't be stopped... Thank you.
Her success is beyond imagination. She has inspired millions around the globe. May The Almighty Allah Grant her more wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
Hi Mr. Yousafzai. I'm proud of look what exist on the word person like you. Thank you for support malala and give her the opportunity to improve herself. I'm sure you have a plase on heaven at the side of God. I love people like you. Give hags to malala from me. I hope God fader protect your family and deliver to much bless in your house.
Very simple ideas, and yet so powerful. The issue here is that while we, in developing countries, tend to give education for granted, we don't realise that in most countries it's a longstanding goal to achieve, specially for girls.
I like her personality when I was kid I always wanted to go to school put no one could be there for me and the senseless War in my Country make it wors for me I am grateful today my children are getting Education my five years old is teaching me times table. I say thanks to my teachers and my friends the people of Great Britain who make it possible for me thank you, stay bless .
Fair play. When I was 16 I was well into smoking weed all day and listening to Smashing Pumpkins on repeat, and I turned out alright. Malala is going to go very far. Scary amount of wisdom at such a young age. Whatever she decides to do in the long run, politics or whatever, she will go very far!
Well done 👏✔ Malala keep it up God send you to the world those who have ears to hear 👂will here the words of wisdom from you . Thank God for bringing a very brilliant active Girl to the world 🌎🙌🙏❤💕
She is so beautiful and inspiring. For those of you saying how she is getting all of this attention and how she didn't have to struggle for education, she said that because she didn't have to struggle for education, she knew how much luckier she was then most girls who she SAW and LIVED WITH going to be house maids and she KNEW and KNOWS that they should be going to school. So, she decided to ACTUALLY help them. Instead of doing what we do which is sitting up there, looking pretty, and pretending we care when we don't because we want a bunch of money, publicity, and fame. At least she actually cares and knows about what she is fighting for because she has seen it in her life.
Could imagine how many great professors ,Dr's and etc this child was speaking to them(I mean that was Oxford University)...what a gift from heaven was Malala Yousafzia
I'm wounded to heard ur speeches because of ur so genious in the world ,i will pray for you In Shaa Allah you will become a great and a famous for humanities
In many parts of the world in the 20th century; poverty or lack of facilities is still the main reason for children who are deprived of education. A basic right for every child to better their future.
Except she still clings to idiotic 7th century convictions. She has yet to realize her religion has created this situation where girls are kept from being educated. Until she can cast aside these stupid ideas she has yet to enter the 21st century
There's thousands of girls out there struggling and doing much more courageous things without the support she got (she went to a school run by her dad), and you pick one and give her all this attention only. Just because she got this attention doesn't mean she's the only one
Yes, I agree, there are other girls or people doing courageous things, but not all have the power of speech. Malala is has the gift of being able to get up in front of people and get their attention. She is living proof that the pen and the word are more powerful than the sword. The Taliban gave her the attention by shooting a defencless 16 year old girl on her way to school.
Salamalaikum malala, i .watch you in the you tube...thanks to allah he save you because he have a plan for you...and hopefully maturity in your country can understand your point to help those young generation...yes education is the number intire the world..i have a friend from patan i always advice him to send his childrens in the school but he tell me that only boys he can send but the girls he could not because.of the pakistan culture/tradion...but now malala carry on the good job to encourage all your young generation to your-country...may the.allah support you and guide you and your family...
Okay.. Okay.. As I am through at about 3:30 of this video, I see that Malala has actually answered the questions pretty well.. Obviously a lot of tension in the environment.. I can see people were spited by that "no mountains in the UK" remark.
Love from india .why we people fight on the name of india and pakistan because the truth is we all are human being we must show humanity .we must help each other

If I'm being honest, I've learned more on my own than I have at school. I do thank school for getting me literate and giving me the ability to to some basic maths, but it wasn't school that taught me about the Higgs boson, every nook and cranny of WW2 and Nicomachean Ethics
You deserve to become politician my dear sister.i am anxiously waiting for your political career.but remember one thing you should make your own party full of educated people .
Mallala as an instrument of God The Supreme Soul , bring alots of peace happiness knowledge n self realization to all. That we are souls n wt have alots of courage to bring many many good things to everyone.

I simply cannot say enough about this wonderful young woman. Her plight is all far to common in the region where she lives. What she has to put up and had to suffer is the result of uncontroled religion gone mad. As Hitchens says and this is O so true here, Give the power back to the women and you will have peace. I know he was talking about reproduction but it all amounts to the same thing. This male dominated culture that has totally gone mad. If ever there was a argument to ban religion this is it. Why does this poor girl and others like her have to be subjected to this. This is not right, and in this day and age should not be tolerated at all
With all due respect, I would like to correct you on a point of mentioning Pakistan as "this region". As a citizen of "this region" I can confirm that every other educational institution here is coeducational which I think is sufficient to describe the situation for female education. Bear this also in your mind that most of the education is being done through private sector which shows the existence of demand. And for your point of "male dominant" culture, well, if you might have checked the survey of UN in Pakistan about literacy rate in 2007, you would have come to know that the rate of literacy rate of female is much higher than the male's. Generalizing the whole population of a country by singular case is not I expect from the person of this age of knowledge and information.
Mohammad Azeem so all that she is saying is untrue? And that the media and other women that I have talked to from that region are all liars. If so please enlighten me. I am totally against any religious belief or system that makes women second class people. There are no if buts maybes in my book. It is either true or it is not. Women enjoy the same rights and privileges and freedoms as men or they do not? In this modern day and age this should be the norm not what should be looked for.
Philip Mc Adam Ofcourse in Pakistan we take education but in villages people dont let anyone study and there the schools are not that good but in cities every girl takes education
Powerful interview given by a girl of 16! I feel so embarrassed if I were to compare myself at her age
Zaky Aris Uske liye Pakistan jaa ker freedom fighter se goli khaani padegi aapko! All planned
We all should appreciate her and follow her to go ahead for awaken the dark society and it is a duty of all ages people.
Her father is absolutely right. A strong family does bring about strong individuals.
No it never bring strong individuals because it keep
you in a comfort zone
So much pressure and responsibility on one so young, but she shoulders it ALL with such grace and good humour.
