@@lennaaenaa He spent almost 20 years as a defence attorney and determined that the courts were not providing resources to help offenders make better choices. Places they can learn, be better people. He was, and is, very passionate about that so he took a 50% pay cut to do this job and to be involved in organizations that help people make positive changes. If they screw up, he sends them to jail. So...why does that bother you so much?

I don't understand why, when people are here illegally, and then they commit more crimes, why we use resources on them. Why are they not returned to their home? Can anyone explain this? We house them in jail, release them, use court time, re arrest them. It makes no sense to me. I travel a lot, and I know if I commit crimes. I would be returned home. I do not commit crimes when I am a guest in another country. This judge is awesome.

As much as I love Judge Fleischer, him telling black Americans that it is the color of their skin holding them back is just wrong. Every American no matter their skin color has the same opportunities as any other American following their dreams. Stop giving them excuses that blacks are less likely to succeed. They are afforded the same opportunity as anyone else in the United States. You have to work hard and not expect opportunities to land at your feet without sacrifices. Life is what you make it. Stop blaming skin color and race, that is not working anymore.
