Sean Lennon is a Brilliant Musician. A Highly accomplished player with a Deep Understanding of Theory/Harmony and a Natural Funkiness in any and all Time Signatures. Plus a Great Voice and a Natural Stage Presence. Not only that but he looks just like Somebody from Back In the Day whose name escapes me…
Yoko Ono lol
@@sportpilotjones xD
This is known by lots , but not know by just as many . The obvious is John Lennons kin. . .
After watching this I’m convinced this may well be one of the greatest bands if they continue. I know it doesn’t fit anywhere in the spectrum of main stream music but perhaps neither do many of the most creative bands.
Shades of Pink Floyd cross with Primus. Love it!
Hands down one of the best sets I’ve ever seen on TH-cam, period! Absolutely mind blowing!!
I agree. 👌
Main stream music is garbage compared to what I listen to. Billboard awards are pathetic. Sorry not sorry
My song will kick your songs ass!

Thx for the set list 😁😁😁
Mucho gracious 👍🏻
Attempting a Bill Bruford song multiple times... sounds about right
Thank you your efforts make exploring easier
agree. thank you.
Best prog rock band I've heard in 30 years.
Sean Lennon Is Also A Talented Musician In His Own Right.
Top Respect Sean Lennon 👏 👍
John Lennon must be proud as fuuccckkkk
Jesus. Whoever worked the boards that night *chefs kiss*
Delicious!
The Greatest Band Since Pink Floyd
If Yes didn't exist
Check out Oysterhead, I feel like Delirium is because Les couldnt get the guys for Oysterhead together so he just made another one
@@aaronveach9739 He got Oysterhead together as recently as last year
@@keepondrinkin2 for the first time in 13 years. Ya feel me?
@@aaronveach9739 Trey must have been like, Claypool Lennon? I'll show those guys
Fricken unbelievable. These cats take great composition and take them to a higher stratosphere. Outstanding. I had my 61rst birthday a couple months back and haven't heard anything this impressive like the other person said. Pink Floyd and I'll add the King Crimson era of Discipline.
AMAZING! Les Claypool is just on another level with his playing, and just knows who to play with!!! I love Mr. Right especially
To me, it seems like Les's skills and talent get better with age. He is like a Jedi Master. The older they get, the stronger with the force.
I hope we get more of this mind blowing music, kicking my ass all over the place!!
It's psychedelic, 60s sounding, modern times type tweeked! It doesn't have a time period it's so eclectic!!
I love the combination of these two. The band is also so good they mix so perfect. What I would give to have been there. Just can't get enough of this video. It's putting a hole in my screen!! More please 🙏
It's so impressing... The best music i heard for years. Will buy both Records! Wow breathtaking..
I was freaking there! I've been to hundreds of concerts in my lifetime. This was absolutely EPIC. My mind was blown that evening. Thank you Claypool & Lennon. You are amazing.
Some of the best live production I've heard! Kudos to the engineers☆☆☆☆
Thank GOD Sean didnt inherit his moms voice! Very Greg Lake-ish
John Lennon's best ever work, performing live on stage with a serious bass assassin.. love it
@@justincase1853 yup, John. John being John Lennon, the best work John Lennon ever did was to create Sean and Julian Lennon, both of whom are now making some bloody good music 😁
Never mind
@@skullonastick4039 So Sad John can’t be here to see them. 😞
John would be so proud of both of them.😢
FUCK that guy who took John from us and his family.
John had so much more music to share with the world.
We will never hear it.
No doubt in my mind they would have a Beatles reunion.
That monster stole all of that from us.
I hope he rots in prison.
Peace and love to everyone else.
1 of my new favorite bands, I can’t believe I just found out about them last year 🤟🏻
Far too many people are sleeping on this band, they will come around when they grow up.
People are really sleeping on these guys.
I certainly did,,, now I love em 👍🏻
Absolutely jaw droppingly excellent! If you know, you know! Tune in.
sid lives in all of us together forever tod infinity
I've been jonesing for a full show,, Awesome thanks,
wish i could make it to one of these shows. want to say thanks to Claypool Lennon Delirium For playing music. Its inspiring, fills the soul with joy. also thanks to Promo west for puting this on youtube so thos of us that could not make it get to also pertake. Cheers. OKC out.
Just hope they tour at a reasonable cost for all to see. One of best new finds for me. I can hear so many short copied sounds and bits from other bands but the original sounds and parts are good.i love hearing Crimson and it's well done
they have been together for at least 17 years
syd barrreetttttt yeahhhhhhhh
This is absolute genius. I loved every moment of it. Thanks for posting!
Very cool that they covered Yes
life changing music get ready these boys know where it's at tod infinity
The monolith of phobos enters into buzz’s dreams and questions more than answers rise like cream 🧐

You both work really well together, Awesome 🎸
This part of Boomerang Baby and after is soooo flawless, stands out to me. 40:20
Great covers
Anything claypool does is brilliant.
The highest level of modern music..thx
what a great consept together fools rules that they do not reciprocate in the slightest way tod infinity
Superb!
You guys are on track to be legendary musicians. Wow...! 500 years from now you will still be amazing to people. Humans are freaking incredible...
Estou impressionado com a qualidade das músicas desta banda. Fenomenal.
Didn't expect that Sean Lennon & Les Claypool can blend this well.
It's Les' best project since Primus.
Can you imagine if Stewart Copeland at drumkit?
OMFG how great would that be?
Yes, but this guy is a very talented drummer as well.
@@mike4619 Sean played the drums in the original releases. The guy playing now is just the tour drummer. Not to take anything anyway from him, but those aren't his licks.
Dope as f,, trippy 💯
A very good show all around. Excellent sound quality All of the vocals and instruments come through insanely clear (I typically don't care for live content unless I'm at there). And with the lights, music and everything it feels like an experience as opposed to a band playing a conglomeration of their songs... the songs bleed well together
Legend
Groovy ✌
Asolutly amaizing! Fuck yeahh!!
Nice.
Brazilian keyboardist
Abraço Rasta!!! Orgulhoso man!!! Sonzera!!!
wow he doin the jimmy page thing with the bow
this band is sofa king awesome
Everything about this performance and band screams, "FUCKING LEGENDARY!" I could just list to them playing Hearts of the Sun Rise on a loop and i would be okay in life...
Wow
KC forever loves you! Me too!
early pink floyd s i d is proud he made it past being born again now one of the watchers tod infinity
I like the Beatle riffs Sean tucks in now and then and I feel strawberry fields.
life changing music to change life imagen that in the court of the crimson king tod infinity
Vai Rasta 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
He is a great lead player in his own right
No words
❤❤❤❤😊
Thela is a cool rendition. The bass thrust forward. Nice ...
Some Mommie Dearests, more endearingly dear than others.
Quality prog
🤘🤘
Reminds me of Sid Barrows Pink Floyd "Lucy Leave"
Bigodagem!
I was remembering doctors and basements. Glad they keep flashing their name over the screen. In the 70's these guys helped teenage girls with their abortions when it was illegal. (Good job, Texas!)
I would really like to see them cover Lucky Man by ELP
10:01 Hellyeahhh
Sean is continuing the journey that his father has started.
Bobsteves rock!!!
Just a bit quick on the Cyd tune, didn't quite get into the Tangerine Dream I wanted..... Excalibur, young Saun, member? Did you color it?
5:13 best Cricket and the Genie
35:44 for the best Boomerang Baby performance I've ever heard them do.
Astronomy Domine . Someone had to do it
i hope they release a new album
Don’t really know rn les is still preparing the farewell to kings tour with primus if it will happen still
in an interview Sean said that he and Les only released south of reality because the record label wanted it, and said that after this tour, they were done as a project. if I find the interview I'll add a link.
@@thatmatt41 This is quite disappointing
@@bubwieser7951 here's the link I was paraphrasing a bit and its possible they might come back but don't bet on it th-cam.com/video/Mw2ANitHTeQ/w-d-xo.html

I'll be honest, I wanted to hate Sean Lennon, and when I heard he's collaborating with Les Claypool I was like WTF??? But this is super cool! Gotta give the nepo baby his props!
1:08:00 awesome Hujingi
Is this on blue ray or 4K? I looked everywhere and can't find it😭
MR WRIGHT es sicodeliaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
They actually sound like a Syd Barrett influenced band.
Holy shit this is good! Cricket and the Genie is the offspring of a Piper at the Gates of Dawn wet Dream.
Do anyone know who les claypool bass tech is
Tommy the Cat
His name is Mudd
Mr. Oysterhead. Although you can call him "Gregory".
I didn't know Les Claypool was a NASA supporter

Товарищу Леннону хочу посоветовать: в своих соло не заполнять такты, а вставлять свои версии основной мелодии
I feel bad for Sean every time Les plays Heart of the Sunrise, Sean is a really good guitarist, but he fucked it up those first few times.
Well, it Shows he's human 😁
Steve Howe is no joke my friend :D
@@sickboy3883 and it ain't even howes hardest part
@@mallowmarkerdon8144 Lol thats pretty exhausting to play whew! the original has 49 measures per minute at 3/4 time signature. i think Claypool did a little faster than that LOL its just crazy sick! Sean needed to get inside in an off beat at the last bar. LOL
That basement Dr guy has some issues

Sean is what John could've been if he actually tried to get better at singing and playing guitar. In comparison to his father, Sean's vocals and guitar playing is leagues ahead of anything John ever did.
John Lennon's music is good no doubt, but simplistic and raw, if not abrasively so at points. There's not much in terms of intricacy or complexity, Sean gives a glimpse into what a progressive John could've sounded like
No disrespect to John, but I dare say, Sean is a better musician
