Love Ken Wilber. He doesn't know it but he's my teacher. After meditating and doing depth psychology and dream analysis for a few years, I had a classic Kundalini awakening and a direct experience of the Goddess or the Golden Light that radiates ecstacy (Shakti), This was experienced as Unity but there was still the I-Thou relationship. The Goddess was radiating and sustaining me, except it was a higher me...which I interpret as the Soul or the Psychic Being of Sri Aurobindo. This was not what is described as Non Dual...but it was the most Unity and Love I have ever experienced. In fact, it felt like 10,000 orgasms. The kundalini process then regresses the person to the very pits of the unconscious. Here, the kundalini violently breaks up any previous stages that were not integrated or that were arrested. This took 23 years of suffering and anguish. At the bottom of the unconscious, one encounters the Psychic Being or Flame of the Sacred Heart. It is literally located behind the heart. Sri Aurobindo describes it and the process of attaining it in great detail. The process then swings up and an ascension and integration process begins. This rises higher and higher until non dual is experienced. I know Ken has written about the pre/trans fallacy, yet my experience was a down/up journey. But what I found on the other side of the lowest pits of hell (collective unconscious shadow) was my Soul...luminous and effulgent. I don't think this Psychic Being or Soul Core or the "Flame of the Sacred Heart" is well known or written about by many transpersonal theorists. The Individuality not only remains intact, it is redeemed, justified, and sanctified. This is the path of the Mother or Shakti Goddess who cares so much about people...souls...that she created a natural process for those who are ready to achieve integration and enlightenment. It's not the highest stage of non dual...I think it is called the 6th stage.
Ken WIlber's thinking revolutionized my life. The sea change of all sea changes. I've read a large number of his over 40 books, which gave me a perspective on just about everything unrivaled by just about everything I'd ever learned about myself and the world. Hardly anyone I know, no, no one I know, has read Wilber, let alone even knows about him and his importance. If you want suggestion where to start, let me know, and I could point you in perhaps a good direction.

The Baha'i Faith has these stages and tiers, in two forms. One are referred to as the Seven Valleys, and the other are the Four Valleys. The Seven reference spiritual existence and the Four reference the human heart. The human heart would emphasize the four quadrants and the seven tiers up to seventh person point of view, or the colored tiers are no different to the Seven Valleys, but i really like how they are figuring out the integrated thought processes that each discipline of science, religion and rational thought should be brought together into a oneness of understanding.

I would very much doubt that any physicist would call self-organization a force in the sense of the four fundamental forces. They describe fundamental types of interactions whereas self-organization is a type of emergent dynamic caused by the balance of interactions and statistical tendencies on different scales. In chemistry for instance, self-organization is often fully explained with recourse only to the electromagnetic force. This is not to say that it is less real than the four forces, only that it is a different kind of "thing".
Not enjoying the divisive definitions. Both Democrats ( not necessarily “liberals”) and Republicans(not necessarily “conservatives”) can be and are committed to varying “traditions “ and philosophies. I’m a democrat whose very committed to my Christian faith, very family oriented, believe in the power of self-determination, BUT also realize the limitations and struggles of living in an oppressive society. There are no black and whites here at all. You don’t have to agree with everything put forth in a bill for it to move forward. Often times, you agree with what you see as the fundamentals of it and all the add-ons attached move with it because you more soundly agree with the initial fundamentals. I’m just saying, if your quality of life (not existence, but life) were only contingent upon your own work ethic, education (whether via organized education or self initiated trainings), faith, and love for family, we would live in a much better world. BUT there is this thing called society that we all must contend with. Some are able to navigate it well and some aren’t and those that aren’t may not be lacking at all; they’re just outside of what some would prefer to view as “the norm” or “their norm.” They’re outside of particular comfort zones and as a result are treated and dealt with in extremely oppressive ways. To refuse to deal with this, to continually blame individuals, and to keep renaming perspectives means that we can’t take the next step forward. Not in love and certainly not in truth.
