I had this as my first baiting spoon, due to its course pole style it was incredible at going out straight in wind due to the weight, down side it’s weight and at night you need to have each section in order, also packing away I hated the way it packs away inside it self, end caps popped off and all feel out making a massive noise, I brought the nash bush whacker as I loved the spoon concept due to this spoon, nash one is simple and just clip it together and your away, downside massive cost, on a budget buy this I recommend it, or save your pennies and buy the bushwhacker

Great bit of kit. Has caught me many extra fish over the years.
One point on the friction fit. keep it clen and dont jam it lol, Been a couple of times ive strugled to get the top section closed.
When packed away it will fit inside a 12ft rod holdall. Spoon and float where the Reel goes. Nice and easy to transport.

i always use some oil over my pva in the spoon to stop any splash melting. also buy a bushwhacker instead, you will regret getting this once you see the bushwhacker, well worth the extra 80 quid imo.

Good bit of kit. Much stiffer than the bushwhacker, so can be used in the wind. Mine was a bit rough when I got it, leaving me with a load of splinters, but a bit of sanding sorted it out. Caught me a lot of fish. Must admit, I have upgraded to a Nash now, just for the extra length…

Watch out for carbon splinters when you first buy it. Good bit of kit but the finish isn't the best and its worth rubbing over the joints with fine wet and dry paper to get rid of the carbon spliters

I sold my 18m Corus pole after using it twice ! Numbered poles were fiddly !

@@frazz_8793 yes the bushwacker sections are £14 and there less than half the thickness so you can carry more mine is 75 meters which is 50 sections.

I was glad to take mine back to the shop.

@@johnnybegood9560 Hi Johnny im glad you get on with yours and i hope you have caught some nice fish using it, i just fealt it was way to flimsy and the slightest bit of wind (welcome to britain) it was a nightmare.
Fishing supposed to be relaxing, the bushwacker is the opposite and just raised the blood pressure 😂
Although nowhere near as far a distance, my Cygnet has never let me down and can be used in strong wind.
The waves off a duck swimming past makes the bushwacker bend round 😂
