I enjoyed this video quite a lot. It wasn't too long and I like seeing how you use the products rather than just seeing them in haul videos. Also, the little bit of chit-chat is nice because it feels more personal and less contrived. Great job!

You look stunning! I love the shimmery gold pinky look and wore that pretty much all summer. The setting does look a little on the dark side though, but if that's going to give us the best realistic look I say stick with it!
I would really really recommend trimming the brows, as I also have super curly hair (even on my brows), and the only thing that keeps them tamed is trimming :)

Your makeup application is faultless, and this look was just beyond words I love it so much, I don't know what it is about your taste in makeup but you always look so so beautiful in whatever you put on- I was watching this on my phone so couldn't tell hugely about the camera settings but I did notice that it was slightly more yellow than normal... But overall It was beautiful xx
Lily do your eyelashes a favour. I've heard you say you've had to curl them and use waterproof mascara lately because they've lost their curl a bit and don't do what they used to do. Eyelash hair is really delicate and waterproof mascara can make them really brittle instead of soft and elasticky, so they tend to fall or stick straight out rather than curling upwards slightly because the hair itself is brittle and prone to breakage. Curling too often can also damage the hair, breaking the hair and causing it to dent, crack, split etc. If you want your eyelashes to go back to normal give them a break for about 2-3 months and go really easy on the mascara and curling. Spring is coming so that kind of allows for a softer, lighter look, so it's kind of a good time to be gentle with your lashes. Once they've begun to grow out you will see a huge difference.
The light is really warm in this video and I like it! I understand, how some might think, that it makes you look a little washed out, but it gives a nice cosy feel.
Monthly make-up is a great idea. It's always really interesting to see the subtle or big changes you make with products or colours depending on the changing weather, season, or just feel of things. Loved it. The make-up is beautiful!

Your skin looks amazing! I also really loved how the pink eyeshadows look on you. I'm usually not a fan of pink on the lids but I think the gold undertone made me really love those eyeshadows.

I like these kind of video. I think more people would be willing and able to recreate this look compared to some tutorials which look amazing, and are beautiful done but not something I would feel confident recreating. Good camera settings, and great makeup look. Would love to see these monthly. I don't agree with people commenting that because of the simplicity of this, it is not a makeup look. This is the type of makeup I wear on a daily basis, so getting some new ideas (pinky shadows, bright lip) is an inspiring way for me to change up my everyday simple routine, and something I'll actually do. Great video!! x

yes please do these videos all of the time! lol, i think it's great to see different make up combos/ your everyday looks for those of us (ie me) who aren't so creative with make up/ no idea what to do! plus there aren't as many bloggers with brown eyes and i never know what eyeshadows would go with brown eyes and are daytime appropriate too! i also much prefer when you talk through make up in videos rather than posts, and especially in tutorials like this, because i think you explain things better- not to offend you because you're a great blogger! but definitely prefer to hear you talk through videos instead.
Lovely look lily! The camera setting looks quite good but it made you look a little bit washed out/ yellow (not badly just slightly) I think before you used the foundation (not criticising at all by the way!) would definitely like to see these monthly too xx
I enjoy videos like these. While I give credit to the ones that do a full on creative tutorial, sometimes what I want is a simple yet different everyday make up with a couple reviews thrown in for good measure. Regarding the settings, I didn't see any difference to be honest, not better not worse, but what I did noticed is that the bed looked a bit crowded with all the cushions, but that's just me being picky, really.
Definitely would love to see your monthly makeup routines! Its nice to have more everyday wearable looks that are not all the exact same. The settings on the camera look fine to me, nothing glaringly odd but then again I don't knowich about camera stuff.
For the first time in a long time I was interested in what the person had to say throughout the video.
