Tip for removing stumps: A Pickaxe and a cordless sawsall combined with a come-along hooked to another tree will make really quick work of those stumps.
Wouldn’t it be so sick and nostalgic to see Jordan bring back the early 2000s of free riding back to life some nice wooden gap jumps and some ladder drops
@@cf6174 Sorry about that I have learning difficulties and big hands so using an iPhone keyboard is a nightmare for me so I use double space so it’s easier for people to read my comments I get replies like yours about 3 times a week and I am sub to about 15 YTs so you can imagine how many How many times I have to do double space a week
Nothing beats building your own trails and then smashing them, been doing it for over 10 years. I'd love to have a good look with that cliff face for ideas.
That was huge!! So good seeing your builds. Man that tree on the left of the landing scared the crap out of me. I would be knocking it down for sure and using it's wood for some ladder bridge drops.
You seemed so chill about all the animals on the game camera, I'm from BC so i'm thinkin, "this guy is nuts for not caring" Then the cougar comes around. Mad respect from everyone for the Cougar, it too is my biggest fear.
The co-pilot thing looks pretty cool. I'll have to check out the site. As far as the build goes, I've noticed the more I build the better I get at making lines right the first time. Good job putting this one together. It's a fine line of knowing something has to pack in to get faster vs. the line not being right. Was fun watching this.
Ive been doing a lot of trail building in my back yard too, and I till make your job a lot easier if you cut down the trees and bushes before you you clear the landing or take off, Ik it sucks having to dig up stumps and cut down trees but you still have to do it some time. Its a lot better if you do it before you dig out the landing mainly because when trees fall they drop lots of branches. Ant you dont want to rake the landing after you just packed it down and maid it all nice. Keep up the great work Love seeing the great land yall have. and some cool animals roaming around
Jordan never debate the boost monster lol I also think some nice ladder drops and gaps would be totally sick !!! And a MASSIVE step up lol excellent video once again Jordan!!!
This is soo good . I felt your joy when you realise that it works . Brilliant man . They just destroyed all our secret trails and I had a jump line that was just getting there with the big stuff . The difference it makes when you tweek the lip is unreal. Have a lovely ending of the week man and a fantastic weekend 🙌
Very cool. The easiest way to remove a stump is to drill some holes fill with diesel let soak. Then light and supervise. Slow but easy. Wow. You need to keep the trail cams going. Awesome.
Love the game cam footage! I’ve seen 2 mtn lions in the wild, 1 was albino! So much bigger and scarier than I thought they’d be! As always, love your content!
8:50 the bobcat photo look the left of it on the edge of the trail where the fat log is leaning onto a skinny tree anyone else see the shadow? cant wait for the finished day of your property :)
Next time you have a stump, dig it out only a couple inches and start a fire around it, you’ll burn off the stump and have a wicked campfire while you shovel away on other things
Pro tip for stump removal, use a old bar and chain on your chainsaw. Make this your Root bar and chain set that you only use for times when your chain might contact the dirt. You also get practice chain sharpening with this method.
I would make the lip for the stump jumps longer and flatter because it seems really awkward and by doing that it’ll make it easier to ride as a racer and just float over
Super sick! It looked from the gopro like you were going so slow off the lip, and then I see the other footage and its like "Oh damn hes flyyyyin through the air" lol Its gonna be so fun watching that whole place go up! Grats on the new long jump! lolol
Jordan, if you can you should build another takeoff right next to the one in the video that has less pop, that way you can go for 50-60ft without yeeting yourself any more than you have to. You could pull the second takeoff a bit farther back than the first one too. This is probably obvious to you, but the reason for this idea is that less pop means that you don't to rotate forwards as much from the angle of the takeoff to the angle of the landing, and the biggest reason, is that with the right speed and position of a less poppy takeoff, your angular and forward momentum can be closer to being parallel with the landing for a longer period of time. When we skip stones, part of the reason they sink is they don't have enough speed, or they make contact that is more or less unparallel with the body of water. Granted, you have to channel all of that momentum at the bottom of the landing, but it can be done right. Again, if your landing too far down with too much speed, pull the takeoff back a little and it should be good. I personally love big jumps where your just hovering over the ground, the landings are so relaxing and its easy to control yourself of the takeoff. But I am not gonna lie, step downs with a takeoff like this scare the shit out of me, like I need to go down not up hahaha idk im just not that gnarly lol.
I'd love to see a big step up once you get to the bottom of that - you can carry all that speed and go full send over that ridge you were stopping before!
Chainsaw tips. Bigger face cuts, way bigger, you really want over 90* so the tree can hit the ground before the face cut closes. You also want to cut it off 180* to the facecut, not 90* like you did. You will want felling wedges too. For stumping, grab some big (over70cc) beater saw and a carbide chain. Either a used one or huztl/farmertec.
If you can burn out old tree stumps heaps easier. First soak with diesel and old engine oil + a small amount of petrol to start the burn 👍 you should make a wooden ramp for at the bottom and make a massive step up to finish the run
Can you please build some sick rock rolls or find some sick rock slabs? When you showed us your property it looked like you had a lot of that you just needed to uncover it
Great vids and digs. I'd leave it el-natural as possible and keep it single tracky, with options. Only use raw matirials from the property. Think NWD with no processed lumber. There are plenty of bike parks with features in that area, don't have to make more of them. Keep it a hidden jem..... with surprises.
I think I mentioned it in your rock drop video, get a Rototiller,! They are cheap and they will do the work of five guys! They dig really well well condition the dirt to what you want and let you put it wherever now that it’s all loose and fluffy ready to go! I’ve built miles of trail with a Rototiller and a compactor, Although the compactor isn’t expensive item the tiller brand new is $500. To find a used one you should be able to find one for less than 100
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like the angle of the landing is steeper at the bottom than the top? Very cool to see what you're building out there. Keep it up!

A row of these massive step downs back to back down the hill would be so rad
That would be sick yeah!
The Instagram story's have been such a tease. I love these backyard build series, and this jump specifically looks insane!
I love to see how great it turned out! It's been awesome working with you so far and seeing the strength and fitness gains you've already made 💪
Thanks Andrew!
Nothing beats building your own trails and then smashing them, been doing it for over 10 years. I'd love to have a good look with that cliff face for ideas.
So awesome .. I stepped away from your videos for a while . You got me 100% back in . Can’t wait to see where this goes 👏
thanks so much! I am really excited for this year!
same here!!
It would be sick to see a map view of the land you have and where each feature you are building is so we can see, would be really cool!
That was huge!! So good seeing your builds. Man that tree on the left of the landing scared the crap out of me. I would be knocking it down for sure and using it's wood for some ladder bridge drops.
thanks! Ya I will probably be taking that one down as well
I need to see this trail continue
I'm honest, this is one of my fav videos on your Account. I love trail building in general and I feel like your forest is perfect for that.
That rock wall is epic at 0:45!
love it...full send, can't wait for the next part after the landing
You seemed so chill about all the animals on the game camera, I'm from BC so i'm thinkin, "this guy is nuts for not caring" Then the cougar comes around. Mad respect from everyone for the Cougar, it too is my biggest fear.
I wanna do a long jump comp on there! That would be so sick! hahaha

thanks so much man! Glad you liked it
Absolutely loving the trail building content 10/10

Don't worry about the cougar. You'll never see it coming....
Love it ...Best video yet
thank you!
Sick, keep them coming! Can't wait for the warmer months to come around
Yes Jordan, stay healthy so you can bless us with more riding and building videos
I know a good rule for cutting trees. Always plan your escape route. It's good to know whats behind you.
Jordan you should make a rock climbing rout on that vertical rock wall it’d be sick!! Again love the videos dude ❤️
Love this new type of content from you! Can't wait to see what you do with the place 🤟🏼
i hope this would be a completely full course trail, stoked to see a full run.
Jordan never debate the boost monster lol I also think some nice ladder drops and gaps would be totally sick !!! And a MASSIVE step up lol excellent video once again Jordan!!!
This is so sweet! Jordan you got me into mountain biking last year. And you’ve inspired me to build at my property aswell!🤙
awesome!
I enjoy this series so much, all your videos are made with so much effort i love it
You should build some flowy trails between beatures and connect them up in a big loop.
Also a map would be sick
Good tip I took away from this was stripping the bark off the logs before stacking for jumps. Great vid Jordan.
Standalone features are cool but i think at some point we need to see a full length trail
for sure!
Great build, love the Trail Building that you show
That is so sick! I wish I had the yard to build crazy stuff like that, good for you man for making the most of it!
Looks great! How about adding a down slope/landing after the stump jump to help pump for some more speed?
Get fat, get work out sponsor, get fit, prove it works, get paid. Smart.
Excited for the trail building.
maaaaan! that is really coming together, you are gonna have an insane set of features once you are through!
Smashing it Jordan keep the videos coming. 👊🏻💪🏻
Always loved that Fraser valley area dirt. Way easier for building than on the shore
Very cool. The easiest way to remove a stump is to drill some holes fill with diesel let soak. Then light and supervise. Slow but easy. Wow. You need to keep the trail cams going. Awesome.

game cam footage is so cool, thanks for sharing!!! sick vid + sick stepdown, would love to see a long jump competition!!!
The steep rock roll looks like it is made for Remy Metailler. I think that would make sauch a cool colab.
Amazing video today Jordan! keep it up man. Living the MTB dream with that property!! cant wait to see what comes!
Yoooo! Duuude! Sick! Broo! Cowabunga! 😂 looks fun.
Bro that's so sick when Whestly hit it i was like damn building and riding is just the dream
this is actually so unbelievably sick I can't wait to see what you build next
8:50 the bobcat photo look the left of it on the edge of the trail where the fat log is leaning onto a skinny tree anyone else see the shadow?
cant wait for the finished day of your property :)
so epic. a long jump contest would be insane. definitely do it!. maybe have a waiver so you don't get sued lmao.
Awesome to see some more building. Keep up the great videos!
the footage from the game cameras was so cool
Next time you have a stump, dig it out only a couple inches and start a fire around it, you’ll burn off the stump and have a wicked campfire while you shovel away on other things
Siiiick !🔥🔥🔥 Awesome step down bro 😎
I hope you guys threw that stump on the fire and had a good night 🤘🏽🔥
Also sick video love to see the building!!!
Beautiful! So inspiring!
The dirt you dug out before the ramp helps you get so much speed its insane
lip*
It would be awesome to do a shark fin step down after the drop to the left.
Pro tip for stump removal, use a old bar and chain on your chainsaw. Make this your Root bar and chain set that you only use for times when your chain might contact the dirt. You also get practice chain sharpening with this method.
Really love the content lately! Keep it up!💯
I would make the lip for the stump jumps longer and flatter because it seems really awkward and by doing that it’ll make it easier to ride as a racer and just float over
Need to get a buddy with a quad to come by and help pack in that lander some more, then finish by hand. Will be mint 🤟
Yards starting to Look Sick dude!!
jordan boostmaster makes me happy
Definitely need a long jump competition!
Super sick! It looked from the gopro like you were going so slow off the lip, and then I see the other footage and its like "Oh damn hes flyyyyin through the air" lol Its gonna be so fun watching that whole place go up! Grats on the new long jump! lolol

You should make a map of your plans!
Please pad the tree on the lower left side of the landing.
Love the content. Awesome build.
You gotta utilize those rocks in the background, would love to see a cool tech line. Great 👍 content, the step down is pimpin.
I'd love to see a big step up once you get to the bottom of that - you can carry all that speed and go full send over that ridge you were stopping before!
I think a lot of us truly can’t wait to see what else you do the backyard build 😩🙏🏻
who would've thought that it would be possible to get the same amount of snow that the Boostermonster has suspension travel!
Keep backyard vids coming so good man
Chainsaw tips. Bigger face cuts, way bigger, you really want over 90* so the tree can hit the ground before the face cut closes. You also want to cut it off 180* to the facecut, not 90* like you did. You will want felling wedges too.

That last jump was buttery. I worry about that tree on the left in the landing zone though.
Try a stump fire, just monitor it carefully
Looks amazing, I know they cost but get yourself a whacker plate will help so much with compaction
Would it help to cover that stump on the run with dirt and use it as a pump point? Or is the speed to high at that point.
soooo cool ! Please more builds
At the bottom of the landing you should dig down a bit and then make a step up
As you were wrapping up the video I was thinking the same thing you were! Are you planning to drop in at the ledgeveiw jump jam in spring?
Amazing content dude 🤩👌
thank you so much!
Can you please build some sick rock rolls or find some sick rock slabs? When you showed us your property it looked like you had a lot of that you just needed to uncover it
yes that is true, there is definitely potential here for that
nice work Jordan !
The terrain is so unbelievable I wouldn’t have the skill the build anything worthy of it 😂 so cool
That Wu Wear Jacket though!!!
Great vids and digs. I'd leave it el-natural as possible and keep it single tracky, with options. Only use raw matirials from the property. Think NWD with no processed lumber. yes I will be! But they are a lot of work too
small atv e-winch is invaluable for clearing trees with tow straps
That looks like a perfect sender for tuck no handers and sui-no handers
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like the angle of the landing is steeper at the bottom than the top? Very cool to see what you're building out there. Keep it up!
ya that is kind of true!
OMG, it’s Norco 2005 (approx). Love to see it, and with Marzocchi 300 mm… Dream 😍 Very good bike 💪🏻🔥
Sick AF!!
Pro tip watch Guilty of treeson's video on how to fell a tree. Will make ur life much easier.
