You have covered this event very well Caleb ...just made me wonder with the coffee pot where is the coal stored ? the foster motor coach is a beauty, love the car on the track railway engineering LOL and ingenuity..Dave
Thanks Dave. Your kind words mean the world to me. I love the feedback given by you subscribers. It keeps me going and I thank you for that. Now in terms of the coal storage for SMC 1, the coal is stored on the right side of the cab, kind of like the setup on the little Welsh steamers in Thomas the tank and the water is stored underneath the frame of the coach.
And yes the MIC is sure a great little runner. There's another one, a black one at Peterborough at Steamtown. That ran for the NRMs 50th Anniversary in 2013. The story was this one 126 was damaged in a accident and then was repainted into this current livery.
Great film mate you've covered the event well from both the speeches and the turning of the pot at the depot. Don't worry about people in the shot that adds the atmosphere to it. Even having me in it at times whoops. Should watch my video I took of the event both a PRR style and my style once it's up. But great job it's sad NRM doesn't do this but I can see why we can't but I'm trying with my GoPro. Anyway can't wait for part two mate looks great so far.
Ooo why thank you David. Yes it would be fantastic if the NRM could have something like this. I want to bring back the days of the 50th Anniversary events. I absolutely loved that year of events, love it to bits. Launch of Bluebird in March, Onkaparinga in April period shunting with 801 in June and don't forget the September miniature and model railway weekend, then the Reds to finish off the year among other things. Glad you enjoyed it my friend. Part 2 in the works at the moment along with the first Afghan Express on Easter Saturday. Then plenty other videos to come as well.
+Caleb's Rail Films the event are still happening with Bub's birthday and FFF in July with also driving experience and Steampunk but filming for media purposes like this the museum hasn't gotten yet. But remember with crowds use them if you have too as I said it works for your video. Plus try and film while working I've been doing it with my GoPro and with seven and with Bill at Semaphore it's turned out quite good so far keep it up mate.
And that is the end result of dedication and commitment. Bravo to all the P R R volunteers.
Really nice work can't wait for part two
Cheers Ethan. Glad you liked it.
I love that Coffee Pot.
+Rob McCrain I knew you would my friend. Plenty more videos to come of the Coffee Pot.
Very good mate, looking forward to part 2
Thanks Jack. Glad you enjoyed it mate. Part 2 is now in the works and should be released very soon.

That whistle is either an F and/or F# on the chromatic scale.
