Heck yeah, well done man! That weather was not favourable haha. Good work on persevering and not getting too discouraged at changing plans! Really enjoyed this series!
@@MeasuredLight thank you! I’ve walked for days in rain before but I’ve never been more drenched than I was on the day to Charlottes Pass. It wasn’t what I had planned of course but I was glad to make it in the end at least. And I will be back for the Rolling Grounds some other time!
@thelongwaysbetter keen to see you cross the rolling grounds when you make it back! I'm planning a trip and we'll probably start and end at Charlotte Pass 🙂
@@eddieintheoutdoors thanks so much! It wasn’t exactly what I planned but I had a great time out there. I’ll be back for more high country adventures in the near future!
Thanks for watching. Yes, it was unfortunate about the Rolling Ground but had to be done given the conditions. I will be back to get that Rolling Ground adventure some other time though!

That road bash up from the power station is… character building🤣👍
@@goinferal5815 sure is. I was determined to walk it all the way to Perisher. Made that accomodation all the sweeter
@@thelongwaysbetter lol… yes a warm and dry room at the end of a long wet and cold day feels so decadent 😉👍
@@goinferal5815 especially when it is a ski lodge with a drying room to dry your sodden pack!
Thanks! You make me feel like I'm on a hike when I'm too deep in work to leave the house!
@@maczopikczu glad you had that experience from the videos. Thanks for watching ;)
Awesome series!

Love this series!
@@50shikingaustraliajennywoo92 thanks Jenny!
Nice work. Sensible compromise given the weather. The background music is nicely integrated into the video. Thanks for shsring your walk.

I feel like you're just encouraging DBCA when you get excited about a toilet block...
@@MarkPybus hahaha I bet they are filled with envy that they can’t compete with ‘highest toilet in Australia’
