I'm hoping to walk this section sometime this October, I just need to take care of an injured knee while walking the route.

@@bjrgtvetenester9417I walked this route recently, starting on 18th October 2024 and finishing on the 25th October. The route was much tougher than I expected, mainly due to the 30°C on most days and many stages that had no villages in-between and very little shade.
I only met 6 other pilgrims on the route during the 7 days, and each day I was walking on my own for all of the day, apart from one or two mornings where I briefly met some of the others, most of whom had started their Camino Mozárabe in Almería. For me, this was my second section on the Camino Mozárabe, having walked the first section, Almería to Granada, in October 2022.
The terrain is quite monotonous in places, but there are some lovely towns and villages along the route.
Next year, hopefully, I'll be aiming to do the next section from Córdoba to Mérida. As I live in Madrid, it's quite easy to get to these places by train to start my Camino.
