thank you for uploading this my friend - it was an amazing reminder of my many trips between Sydney and Brisbane when I was in my 20's (gosh that was 20 years ago now). Back in those days I truly loved driving the NE Highway for the scenery. The only difference was that back then it was customary to drive the entire journey in one day - but also in the early 2000's we used to smell a lot of speed too hahaha. Mate I really appreciated this.
It's finally here... Unfortunately due to copyright issues, this video had to be reuploaded twice, which was a nightmare as I had to go around looking for new music here and there... luckily thanks to Monstercat Silk and their music style that (somewhat) fits these style of videos, I was able to finally get this out with no copyright issues available for all to see... without a single Content ID claim as well, meaning this video stays completely ad free! The genre of music of future time lapses will switch from now on to a kind of progressive/organic house music, as my non-copyrighted EDM pop/rock only has like 15-20 songs... which will get very repetitive as more videos come out. The good thing about house music is that a lot of songs are like 7-8 minutes long... meaning less of them are required to fill one video! So yeah, I hope you like the new music style from now on (and also new camera, new speed limit, new progress bar, new town displays, new road types etc.) :)
Will definitely save quite a bit of time along the New England! Although I wonder whether the bypass at Singleton is necessary... 700 million to save at most 5 minutes sounds a little bit overkill.
@@MightyEagle073 I know. I live on the south coast of New South Wales. The Albion Park Rail bypass only saved about 3 minutes but at least the bottle neck there is gone.
@MightyEagle073 Trust me the Singleton bypass is definitely needed. I travel on the highway every second weekend to Sydney During the afternoon rush (tradie/school knockoff) the highway sometimes becomes very congested. I got caught in 2 of these and a 5 minute drive through the town turned into 30-40 minutes.
I got to admit I'm not a big fan of the New England Highway. I have driven it from the Sunshine Coast to Armidale a few times and it seems like a road that just never ends. You drive for 3.5 Hours and you're still in Qld. Drive for that amount of time on the Pacific and you are well on your to being halfway between Ballina and Grafton.

Didnt even go turn right to go to the wonderful muswellbrook Aldi. You my sir has made me sad
It will be good when both the Muswellbrook and Singleton bypasses are completed.

Awesome Way country roads are quieter than motorway
woah interesting route
Definitely an unorthodox way of travelling between the two cities haha

Definitely not as quick as the Pacific, but it's a great alternative route with slightly better scenery.
Fact at Toowoomba the A39 takes you to Melbourne
Not quite. The A39/M39 actually ends just north of Seymour.
Why don’t you countine M1 from Gold Coast along the coast
I’ve done a video where I took that route here: th-cam.com/video/96q9pEenihk/w-d-xo.html
