eh, just got this game for free so i could form my own opinion on it and so far i don’t hate it. it’s better than IV, which isn’t saying much…but still. the combat also isn’t that bad. feels like any other saints row game tbh. maybe get better? playing on the hardest difficulty btw.
To respond to this though we were indeed playing on the hardest difficulty and honestly compared to how the AI was handled in saints 3 and 4 (Never played Gat Out of Hell) it felt like they just used what they had previously but decided to just butcher the combat even further for no reason. But then again Saints Row 1 is my favorite out of the entire franchise and we went in here thinking there was gonna be at least some sort of resemblance to the game other than the church and slapping the name *Saints Row* on this one.

I honestly like it. Its goofy and fun like saints row 4 in digging man. Way better that playing gta for the 5th year in a row
