  • Do you think you have what it takes to solve the hardest reading questions on the Digital SAT? For this video, I’ve collected 7 of the hardest reading questions to ever appear on the Digital SAT. All of them have been rated a 3 out of 3 out of 3 in terms of difficulty by the College Board, and I’ve seen a lot of students get them wrong in my classes. However, you don't need to be a genius to solve them. In this video, I'll show you how to tackle them with a clear, logical approach and locate the correct answer with speed and confidence. Using these methods, many of the students I teach have gone on to earn scores of 800 on the Reading & Writing Section and 1600 overall. If you want to maximize your performance on the Digital SAT, this is the video for you.

    The problem is we don’t have all the time to reflect and understand the text :///////

      Sad but true. That's one reason why it's so important to have a systematic approach. Read the question first and determine what you need to focus on in the text, because you may not have enough time to read and understand the entire text.

      @theshot8907 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It's important to have a faster pace of understanding the text and answering the question if you're looking for that dream score, and this is a habit that can only be developed from one thing: practice.

    can you recommend some resources that have the hardest reading and writing questions to practice?

    • @ivyleaguementors
      @ivyleaguementors  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The best resources are the official ones. Here's a link to the official question bank. You can sort by question type and difficulty, so if you want to focus on hard ones, just filter by difficulty rating of 3: satsuitequestionbank.collegeboard.org/

    i find it difficult to retain information

    • @ivyleaguementors
      @ivyleaguementors  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Honestly, me too! But the good thing is that you don't really need to worry about retention because the text is right there. If there is some detail in the text that you think might be important and you don't remember it, just go back to the text!

    hi just as a general question i'm taking the sat this Saturday, and Im wondering if the dsat is much harder than the bluebook questions/questions in the video - after watching through I got all of them right fairly easily, but sometimes I run out of time and rush towards the end of the practices

      @@ivyleaguementors Yes. thank you. I could get to that and compare my answers. Q2 is where I need little explanation. I was debating between overlooking and marginalizing and ended up picking marginalizing which was wrong. Would you please explain this question.

    Hello!
    I have a question
    Since I've heard that the march sat was hard, what do you predict; will the may sat be easier, even harder or the same?

    • @ivyleaguementors
      @ivyleaguementors  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I was actually just making a video on that topic... it should be out in a couple of weeks. But here are a few key points. Although a lot of students have complained that the March test was harder, I'm not sure it was. Students often feel that the real test is harder, but looking back at the questions after, they realize it's not. The pressure on test day can make it seem worse than it actually is. However, if the March test really was harder, the College Board probably knows, so scores would be scaled to adjust for that. (The harder the test, the more questions you can get wrong and still reach a high score). And the same will be true for May. It may be on the hard side, but that could actually be good news for you as a test taker, so I woudn't worry about it. Hope that makes you feel better
