Feels strange for a european to see that safety wire/chain are mandatory on trucktrailers , aren’t the market providing new alt so that the driver could maneuver the transfer from within the cab ?
no because you have to detach the trailer in order to back up to it but they do have what they call pup trailers that are a short dump body thet dumps by itself
About what I'd expect from a 6 digit CA number. What is 50 percent sand and 50 percent rock?? A split load? Wtf happened to that trailer box?? Looks like it has been on the ground! A 50 percent sand and 50 percent 1/2 inch gravel it is used to fill gas and sewer lines and the trailer box is fucked up because the company can't keep drivers my buddy works for them we he is on hiatus from the Hollywood 399 teamsters
Lol.. and he didn't lock the trailer box! I'm guessing you had him nervous.. otherwise fire him. He didn't release the dolly axle brakes before he hooked up either!

What is the benefit of this kind over the pup trailer style?
You can get into tight spots in the city to dump your load we do have pups here in so cal but transfers like these are the norm
