One of the main point for downfall of pubg and bgmi are so many collaborations. In every update there is a new collaboration with new items added to the game which is killing the fun of battle royal. All of that looting items is no more necessary if you find 15-20 shop tokens immediately after landing you can buy a gun with full attachments from vending machine which is definitely not done in a battle royal game.

Not necessarily...many used to play safe including me around s06....but the fun we had with our teammates was incredible...we didn't used to play for kd tho... I don't think any other game in the future would provide the fun we had during those seasons...and that's sad tbh

PUBG was popular back in 2018 and peaked in 2019-2020. Other than the reasons put in the video another reason is most of the playerbase have already progressed and simply carry on with life, like having jobs,kids,graduated, some might have already passed on etc etc and the younger generations simply have other games that suit their current taste and trend. It's heartbreaking to see the game dying but I'm happy as well to have been part of the golden age of PUBG in 2018-2020 and can smile reminiscing old times playing the game with mates.

I know when we are actually in present, you dont understand the importance of the moment, but when it passes away U start feeling for it, as i am feeling now. I used to play PUBG 1 year ago, straight for 4 yrs without missing a day, almost a min of 4 hours everyday. So many fights with family friends and all the teachers for this addiction, I was literally in my worst phase of my life when i used to play PUBG, as this game took so much from me like my POTENTIAL, ENERGY, MONEY and TIME, still i feel nostalgic for it in deepest part of my HEART and this feeling will stay forever, cuz as this game took so much from me, it also left me with a lifetime of beautiful nostalgic memory and a PEACE in my heart. Earlier so so much of fights arguments and toxicity was in my home for this game just to delete it and stop playing, but now i have the game installed in my mobile since a year but I never touched it and didnot even open it becuz i think its not only the game but the memories we and our team mates made. Me and my team are not together now, everybody is settled in their life in some or the other sector and moved on leaving behind these awesome and unforgettable memories. The reason I'm playing it on and off is because I miss the old pubg mobile, Night matches, Zombies, and before Metro royale. I absolutely love the game and started moving on to console; Metro royale is honestly terrible everyone's got a Mk.14 on day one and Steel front armor is hard to beat, I miss playing matches in Vikendi that map is the best. I also miss the days when I first started playing getting off the school bus on the cold November afternoons running to my room just so I can get on pubg and play with my old friend group.

I remember playing with my cousin's on global version and having so much fun and there was barely any hackers or bugs till that faithful day when my game crashed while I was playing with cousin's and I relaunched it but...it froze on the first loading screen that you get when you launch the game I probably waited an hour on that frozen loading screen waiting for it load...but never did and finally after 3 years of not playing I got a new tablet and I installed pubg for the first time in years...and what I came back to was...boring and full of bugs and almost every player would be a bot or a ace tier pro there were no new player well at least not as many as their use to be and every match was just same get to the last circle and kill the last player some times I would get lucky and win but most of the time I'd lose to a pro it was getting boring so I quit classic matches entirely with the exception of playing a classic match with my cousin's for old times sake and every new update was just boring and disappointing the exciting feeling of something new never lasted that long so I quit pubg for good "sigh" I still remember the good old days when it was actually fun 😔

It's so sad dude... Last time I played it was 2 years ago and it was still good. I think the game was the best back in 2019. I returned some weeks ago and the game is dead. Literally. I'm from South America and I already made it to Diamond II, at the start it was me playing against bots... Now that I get to higher ranks the game doesn't even finds games no more. It's like if there aren't enough players. The only way is to play Squad, but solo or duo doesn't works at all, only in classic mode (no rankeds) sometimes but only duo. Also I hate the new maps and the new modes, the metro royale thing was dumb as well... Overall I think that New State did the final kill move to PUBG M and took most of its players and with so many modes and maps the few remaining players are divided playing each one of them. That's my guess. I haven't been able to play again in Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi... 😭

The reason I'm playing it on and off is because I miss the old pubg mobile, Night matches, Zombies, and before Metro royale. I absolutely love the game and started moving on to console; Metro royale is honestly terrible everyone's got a Mk.14 on day one and Steel front armor is hard to beat, I miss playing matches in Vikendi that map is the best. I also miss the days when I first started playing getting off the school bus on the cold November afternoons running to my room just so I can get on pubg and play with my old friend group.

I am one of those who left bgmi because bgmi classic matches are just boring everyone whom I come across was a noob Or a bot, getting a win meant nothing to me in bgmi, every pro player went to e-sports, So the competition in erangel clasic matches in none.

I remember playing with my cousin's on global version and having so much fun and there was barely any hackers or bugs till that faithful day when my game crashed while I was playing with cousin's and I relaunched it but...it froze on the first loading screen that you get when you launch the game I probably waited an hour on that frozen loading screen waiting for it load...but never did and finally after 3 years of not playing I got a new tablet and I installed pubg for the first time in years...and what I came back to was...boring and full of bugs and almost every player would be a bot or a ace tier pro there were no new player well at least not as many as their use to be and every match was just same get to the last circle and kill the last player some times I would get lucky and win but most of the time I'd lose to a pro it was getting boring so I quit classic matches entirely with the exception of playing a classic match with my cousin's for old times sake and every new update was just boring and disappointing the exciting feeling of something new never lasted that long so I quit pubg for good "sigh" I still remember the good old days when it was actually fun

The main and the most pepper reason is the ban, after ban everyone played yaah toh free fire aur pc games like csgo and valorant etc and when bgmi was launched again people lost interest and played the pc games coz it was better that is the thing that happened to me

I returned some weeks ago and the game is dead. Literally.
I'm from South America and I already made it to Diamond II, at the start it was me playing against bots... Now that I get to higher ranks the game doesn't even finds games no more. It's like if there aren't enough players.
The only way is to play Squad, but solo or duo doesn't works at all, only in classic mode (no rankeds) sometimes but only duo.
Also I hate the new maps and the new modes, the metro royale thing was dumb as well... Overall I think that New State did the final kill move to PUBG M and took most of its players and with so many modes and maps the few remaining players are divided playing each one of them.
That's my guess. I haven't been able to play again in Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi... 😭
