- Join us for a midsummer adventure on a tidal island in the Gower Peninsular. We wild camped without tents under the starry sky and saw the most spectacular bioluminescent plankton light up the waves crashing against the cliffs.

I love this place. I lived in Swansea for a year when I was studying there for my Erasmus year. I used to spend my free time visiting the Gower peninsula. I miss it sometimes.

The poet Dylan Thomas initially described the Worm's Head as "the very promontory of depression" and was forced once to spend the night on the Head after being trapped by the tide.
