That’s how you know producers are insane, how the hell do you think of a beat out of that sample, and out of the whole song, they chose those two parts 😭
Hit it right on the money Satyr. I keep saying that. The really top producers are the one who sample parts that haven't been sampled. You already have to be creative to be a producer but this is just next level scoping. Check out episode 140 of Sample Sessions. And check out the arrangements of that, it's even more insane than this.

They also do a lot of trial and error samples they chopped and do a bunch of combinations of sounds when they sample of course it’s not always like that but a best example is in the mbdtf short film where you see Kanye going ham on the mpc. I’m still learning how to sample so this is stuff I’m learning and heard.

what filter do you use for decrease the songs?
Hey Edoarda Bottega, I use a combination of cutting the Low completely and both filters on the Pioneer DJM Mixers in order to achieve this result. You can still hear a bit of the instrumental but for the most part, the vocals are clear.

What program do you use? I’ve been trying to do something similar (with pitch shifting while keeping the sane timing) in Ableton Live 11 Lite but I can’t find a way beyond adjusting the semitones or messing with the master BPM
