Finally taking Valentino back to the jungle!

When we realized Valentino had the deadly EEHV we rushed him to the Thai Elephant Conservation Center Hospital where he stayed for 3 weeks for intensive treatment.
Against all odds, he managed to beat the virus and we were finally able to bring him back home!
For the next week or so he will have to stay separate from his herd, though, because there is a chance he could still transmit the virus to the other younger elephants.
