OST Black Myth ... Yang Hongji Black Myth WuKong Ending Song First Chinese AAA Unreal Engine 5 game Boss Music Black Myth: Wukong Deluxe Edition OST BGM
For Western players. The answer in the song is "The Road is under your feet". This idea comes from the famous writer Lu Xun (1881-1936) who wrote: "Hope is like a road in the country; there was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence."
When you realise this ground-breaking Chinese AAA game is developped by a team of only less than 100 people (~50 actually)... the song means even much more within both the industrial & cultural contexts.

Since I was a kid, I watched this series with my grandmother, many times, every summer. She bought me Sun WuKong mask every moon festival. She passed away more than 10 years ago. This song brings many nostalgia...
I lived with my grandparents at village every summer breaks, at that time the village only has dirt road and our house does not have a tv, but a relative got one and they live far, I still remeber to ask my grandpa to take me to their house for watching Journey to the west everyday, even the rainy day he will wear the gumboots and took me on his back. Im glad he is still living but my grandma passed away 2 years ago. and my grandpa hardly recognize me because hes too old now. sadly we all have to grow up and see them go.
Exactly. It is the part of spirit and value of the Chinese since beginning. In China, the Gods need to be evaluated by their KPI.😂 The Gods need to serve the people. If you do not perform well, they will look for other Gods. So the message is that everyone can be Wukong, keep breaking through and keep going. Don't ask where the path is, it is under your feet.
I am a 52 year old Chinese Singaporean, this clip and song got my eyes teary, remembering all the memories watching 1986 "Journey To The West" as a kid, cheering each time Sun Wukong defeated any demons or evil persons, and also learning the teachings of Buddhism whenever his master educated him on any wrongdoings.

During all my childhood as a Vietnamese born in 2004, this song was what I've heard for hundreds times (bet many Asian countries watched the 1986 too). Though I didn't know the meaning, this still evokes a sense of nostalgia
You should understand this lyric, which inspired the childhood of two generations of Chinese men. The title of his song is: Where is the road? The answer in the lyrics is: The road is under your feet.

Journey to the west is a classic. Iam from France and it was a classical TV program during my childhood afternoon. It was the only chinese TV show represented. I was sure it was Japanese because of DragonBall because everything was translate in french. Journey to the west inspired many directors, cartoonists or writters accross the world ❤
Lao Tzu said that "the journey of the thousand miles begins with one steps" in Tao Te Ching. The answer in the song is "the road is under your feet" was maybe inspired from this quote. By the way, Wukong is the main character in Journey to the West, and he was a Taoist before he supported Jin Chan on the Journey. Also, Journey is similar "on the Way" and "the Way" also means Dao or Tao. Kinda a reasonable circle 😅
I remember being 4 years old and watching JTTW 1986 through a screen door at my neighbors house. At 7 in 1997, my parents finally got their own copy and I watched the whole series. Wukong was and still is my favorite hero of all time. This video game makes my heart ache from nostalgia.
When watching the 1986's movie, I only felt excited when wukong was very strong, defeating many yaoquais on the road easily, but through this game, I felt how difficult the road was

Hoài niệm quá 😢
EVERYTHING about this game is inspirational AF.
Bài hát này là cả một tuổi thơ của tôi. TRÂN TRỌNG
The 2011 drama with end credits every episode using this song, brings back so many memories
