The back half of the car really reminds me of older Ferrari GTs from the 60's like the 250 LM...

I like the use of a rear window.

Gorgeous looking car, saw the unveil at Spa 24 last year, but the noise is so disappointing; the road version sounds amazing and I was hoping for it to sound like that but louder and more aggressive.
Nothing compares to the flat six sound
if you see it pass on the track live, you can't hear it. It's disgusting, especially cause it's a Ferrari!

It's sad the sound of racing will all soon be gone. Some of us are lucky enough to have been up close and around the older race cars. Yes the ferrari 458 was the last of its kind. And it's not just the turbos fault. The f40 was turbo charged and sounded like a beast.
Reminds me of the 512BB/LM..they were chasing it with that rear..

The 296 kinda has a bit mid 70s mid 80s design to it. The flat-ish engine cover and the separated c-pillars kinda gives it a modern 388 GTO look.
To be honest, the first time I looked at it, I didn’t like it at all. But imo, this looks more like a Ferrari, than most Ferraris build in the last 10 years or so.
And the GT3 variant? I think they absolutely nailed it. God, I wish I could drive one of these in GT7.
It’s coming to ACC in a dlc which is a far far far better GT3 sim definitely requires the use of a wheel and rig. I currently main the 488 EVO

To those who complain about the sound. It's obvious that it doesn't sound like the street version. The engine is way limited, so it's quite different.
She's a beaut & if it had the HP of the road going version it could go for the overall win

Is the daytona 24H in WEC or IMSA? I got into endurance racing last year so idk much
imsa, wec doesnt run on daytona, the only tracks they race in in the US is Sebring and COTA

It's a very wide angled V, so yeah i don't blame you for hearing it like a boxer.
I kind of like the noise. Its better than the turbo V8 it replaces.

The 488 wasn't exactly the loudest or most musical of GT cars, but I'm a little sad that this isn't either.
What a striking car. Hopefully Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Bentley gets theirs.

I want to like it because I was a big fan of the 488. But just every little detail is off putting. Rear tail lights look like a Corvette. Front headlights look like a 90s 300ZX. And the exhaust note sounds like a window rattling.

For some reason I just can't picture this as a Ferrari. Every time I see it I just think McLaren 12C. The C8 looks more Ferrari than the 296.

296 GT3 : sounds terrible but better and clearer than FORD GT GTLM/LMGTE, but not as good as the R35 GODZILLA GT-R NISMO GT3.

Sounds really bad TBH, even worse than 488 GT3 for me personally 😟 other V6 GT3 like Nissan GT-R GT3 & Honda NSX GT3 sounds better.

This car is juste pure sex. And unpopular opinion, i love the deep sound of its v6. It's no C6R or Panoz but still feels right for me.
