Thanks bro. Exactly what I needed to know and directly to the point. None of that other puffy and fluffy unnecessary small talk about everything but what someone clicked the video for. Thanks again you saved me from going in blind. Good video

THANK YOU FOR THIS! My wife called me around lunch saying her Terrain was blasting hot air. I found your video and by dinnertime I had her AC cold as the day it rolled off the lot! Much appreciated 👊

You should do a video of replacing the blend door itself, to go with this video of the blend door actuator replacement.

Do I have to reset and calibrate this new part before I replace it?

After having heater core replaced by a local shop the blower on heat or ac sometimes does not blow air at all. It will come on if we tap on the dash or hit a bump sometimes. Intermittent issue. Would this blend door have anything to do with it or would it be a loose connection or blower motor?

Would this cause warm air coming from my vents instead of ac?

I have replaced this about 5 months ago. As of today, needed heat and blowing nothing but cold air. But I did leave the car running for 5 hours on Friday night, maybe this fryed it? Do you think I should replace again. I don't know what other options to take. Thank you.

Ok so mine started out making the clicking noise then was blowing heat and no a/c so we pulled the actuator motor and a/c worked but no heat replaced the part and still no heat what do you think the problem is?

My ac works fine but just noticed this morning the heat isn't blowing hot air, safe to assume this is going to fix it???

Would this be a fix for my 2011 GMC Terrain? Cold air comes out at the bottom and not from the top air vents. Thanks.

There is a similar actuator on the driver side (much harder to get to) that controls where the air comes out. I believe it's referred to as a mode actuator or something.

How much should it cost, to get it fixed?

Hello. I am having an issue on my 07 gmc acadia.
Its only blowing air in the rear part of the car in AUX mode. There is not air coming out front my defrost or front vents. Can you please advise on what it might be. Could it be the blower motor or an actuator? Thanks again

christian C your problem sounds like the blower motor module it should be to the left of the blower motor with two bolts holding it on .

You should change the title of the video you are changing the blend door actuator not the blend door.

I have a 2010 GMC terrain and the AC is fully charged but still blowing hot air, can someone tells me if I've the same problem??

I replaced both actuators and it still does the 5-10 ticks then stops

Change your title. This is NOT a blend door replacement. That is a huge 20 hour job. This is a blend door actuator replacement.

Does anyone know if this actuator controls the air vents mode. I have hot and cold air but does not change air flow mode.
    Thanks

My car doesn’t blow air on feet and defrost doesn’t work would this be it?

    • @alexhodges9271
      @alexhodges9271 3 ปีที่แล้ว

No. You need the mode door actuator.

You should rename this to "actuator replacment" you didn't replace the blend door....
