Great shave loved watching the creation of the lather Getting better at that Have a couple of old soaps that I need to practice with Mitchell’s Wool Fat and Geo F Trumpers Lime Soap
That Yaqi razor handle has some great knurling! Love the look of that new Yaqi Brush with that beautiful handle. I will have to try coconut oil for a pre-Shave sometime. Great Shave & Lather! Best Regards! Brian
Yes you recommend to me It arrived just in time for my last weekend in town I took it with me as well as a Gillette Tech Needless to say the Tech never seen the light I ended up using the Yaqi head all weekend Your doing it again 😆 Answering as I comment woke up early today so just got up currently 6am here So as usual watching Shave videos on Utube but I agree Yaqi is excellent value for money and some of their gear is outstanding
The cobbled or cobbled head is a perfect head for travel I paid 6.50 AUD but still a bargain. I agree with you about aggression I think the blade also plays a big part I am currently experimenting with different blades Currently using a Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade but like I said I am going to try other blades
Yes the blades and the Razor itself play into how aggressive the shave is ... but for example if you have a way under or way over aggressive razor for you then NO BLADE can fix that one ..... Kit
Mike Holmes No the Rainbow Brown is the same knot material BUT in the Ferrari Brown 24 it is set with a lower height and the Rainbow Brown is a 26 mm knot. So the two brushes perform quite differently with my huge preference going to the Ferrari brown. It to me has more backbone and is more of a medium PR Index performer. The rainbow brown would have been better to me if it was not mounted as high as it is. That makes it a bit floppy in comparison. I do have reviews on the purple haze knot and it is great and just under a tuxedo in the PR index I pick the Ferrari Brown by a slight margin over the Purple Haze Mew Brown Brush but they are quiet similar in use and NOT the same knot. That knot splays just as much as my RazoRock black noir knot in the 400 Brush. I like the brown look of that knot.

Great shave Master! You should do a shave vid from the Islands..
ps the coconut oil pre shave is probably the single most important thing I do, it has changed my shaves drastically! Thank you my friend.

Yes agree with that
That’s why my Qshave is in the cupboard unused 😆 Not ready for that yet I’m only 2 months in to DE shaving
Hi
How would you compare this shaving brush with Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Knot? which one has more backbone? I found the Naples faaaar too soft for me
Don't get the horsetail knot then. It is set high and is softer and less back bone than any tuxedo I ever tried~! Kit
The Yaqi Chianti 24mm Brush is the firmest Yaqi synthetic I ever used ~! Kit
Kit, how does this compare to the rainbow brown knot (are they the same?) and to the purple haze knot? Thank you sir!

Also I am sorry but I do not own a Moka Synthetic but I do like the Moka handle I have with the two band badger ~!
Thank you
