The reason why some of alpha 6's weapons were un finished is maybe that they werent finished modeling it or there still making the texture for it or they used original assets from the original half life
I remember this alpha on the pirate bay. Hell they even had a wireframe version of the final Lambda Teleporter room. I don't remember the FOV being like this though.
I take glock model from game dir, decompile it w/ crowbar programm, and import SMD file into 3ds max 2017, after i make anim, and compile it again in mdl file by crowbar programm
I didn't know they could do so much modding back then, when the SDK wasn't released yet! Now I wonder how many mods were done on the original 2004 Source engine...

From what I've heard about, its because older games used mono sound, which has more punch, modern games use stereo, which is more "wide" or spread out
