Mr. Mario, you always give good advice.
I had a customer tell me what he wanted, we went over his options, we agreed to a design. I did the work, and did it well (in my opinion). He came and got it today, and was unsatisfied with.. basically everything. I offered several solutions; doing it over, no charge; him just paying for materials and not labor; and making modifications for free. Nothing was agreeable.
I feel awful, but I also know that I did just what he described to me. How do I deal with this?
