Tom was just saying on his morning post, how he hated everything being up on the internet, but everyone who watches this is going to be grateful it's there for us to see!
I love uncle larry, but it really gets under my skin when a content creator complains about the use of other ppl using their phone to record stuff or anything about the algorithm. Seems weirdly hypocritical.
I'm one of those that's very open and seen many many types of shows and can imagine and feel the energy from memmory just by the music being played. I would love to be there sure. But I'm in the Adirondacks. Disabled and it isn't possible.
That was 2 Master Craftsman showing their skill. Like the song or not, for those with ears, it was a Masterclass. End of rant. Merry Christmas everyone, and Rock on to the New Year !!
My two favorite guitarists, nay, my two favorite MUSICIANS. On stage together!!! What could be better? Nothing. Uncle Larry begging for a pick for some reason cracks me up!!!
I agree with Uncle L. You guys should do this more, and post these up as beautiful looking and sounding as this video. I was expecting great playing and singing, but am equally blown away by the songwriting. Thanks so much from Seattle..
Michael, this is fantastic - thank you for sharing it. Life-affirming camaraderie, humour, songs (and obviously chops-for-days from these two legends). Brilliant. Wishing you a good festive season.
Michael you made my day bro! Having coffee and watching this WOW! Buk & Jedd together are Killer! Great steady filming and good sound. Front row for all of us Homeskooler's! Happy holidays and thanks for sharing. I'm heading to Nashville tomorrow for Uncle Larry's birthday show! Thanks for the primer!
Tom is the ultimate professional. He played just enough to enhance Jedd's performance, not stealing any of the spotlight. Both are top notch performers!
Thank you SO very much for sharing this with us. These guys together are amazing. Such a killer little set with loads of truly moving sounds. You can really feel the music these cats are doling out as only a duo. Such talent makin' it real.
Great stuff guys. On that second song, the way that Uncle Larry leans into those graceful taste of notes, unrehearsed, blows my mind. This is the epitome of what music should be. Each note holds so much emotion, thank you for sharing. Wish I could be there.
@SeeCSeesCC Wishing you the BEST of time in Nashville this week. So wish we could've been there! 🎄🎅Merry Christmas to you and yours. Looking forward to a great 2025 for us all 😃
Magical ending steers the collective emotions right back to the port of love and thankfulness. I can only imagine the feelings the Cliffs had with the stage being set like that ❤
Thanks for recording another great set, Michael! Always such a treat to hear them. So glad I got to see them at one of the Bitter End shows! Happy Holidays, everyone. 🍻
This is like being in a small NY club in the 50s or 60s when all the jazz greats would drop by to jam after recording with Sinatra or Ella or Bennett. In 30 years people will be saying "I wish I was there"
The biggest difference between these young kids learning tricks vs real seasoned musicians 6:00 minute mark on, on the fly the guitarist on the left effortlessly follows into a song he’s never heard and adds exactly what it needs. To the untrained musician dosent look like much, but I’ve seen kids that can play malmsteem licks from tablature , but can’t even jam improv in a minor Something so simple yet an extremely rare and important skill to master Guitar tabs have killed the musical ear, because kids now are learning the tabs like a video game instead of LISTENING with their ear!
Tom was just saying on his morning post, how he hated everything being up on the internet, but everyone who watches this is going to be grateful it's there for us to see!
Little taste is better than nothing, in my opinion. Sorry, Uncle Larry
Yeah I always check in before posting
Didn't care for it. But good playing don't care for the song but there both very talented 😊

I'm in Australia. Very grateful to you Michael for putting this up. Even if a live stream was available I would be at work or sleeping.
Goodness me chaps, when is the live album coming out, this is incredible!
Jedd has a wonderful aura about him, peaceful, serene and happy. He and Tom are a great duo.
Cripes Jedd,
You are a song smith like no other (!)
That was 2 Master Craftsman showing their skill. Like the song or not, for those with ears, it was a Masterclass. End of rant. Merry Christmas everyone, and Rock on to the New Year !!
“What am I supposed to do when the bastard won’t stay dead”. Wow. Jedd is killing it.
"Play a new song with a bunch of chords to challenge me" God love Uncle Larry!
Uncle Larry playing pedal steel licks on a 335. Gorgeous!

Jedd Hughes these songs 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 man ❤
My two favorite guitarists, nay, my two favorite MUSICIANS. On stage together!!! What could be better? Nothing. Uncle Larry begging for a pick for some reason cracks me up!!!

Wow. “Crazy old man” (if that’s the title) is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard, damn
Love when Tommy and Jed get together!
Just awesome! What beautiful synergy these 2 have. Jedd has a great voice and Uncle Larry's accompaniment put it over the top. Thanks for posting.

I just jammed with two of my idols for an half of hour, thank you so much!!! greetings from Montreal!
So nice!

Uncle Larry plays guitar like Jerry Douglas plays dobro. Couple of masters at playing just what’s needed and nothing that’s not.
Yes, this was really great! Thank you for posting this..this was a great thing to experience on this cold day in Nova Scotia!
Brilliant.
That's some let's get a band together for the next album and tour shit!!!!!!! Jedd and Tom combo outstanding. Thanks guys.

@@michaelfriedman9029 Haha... missed connections.
We had the same table both nights.
I probably bumped into you more than once. 😀
Fantastic! New material, but rooted in the style of like David Crosby, Neil young and such. Love it!
That was so great! Thank you so much for putting this up.
I confess that I've watched this at least a dozen times. Such great songs and performance.
Thanks so much!
Hey Jedd from Sydney. Go Aussie
Magical ending steers the collective emotions right back to the port of love and thankfulness. I can only imagine the feelings the Cliffs had with the stage being set like that ❤
Jedd is such a great singer.
Great vibes! Seldom do I not fast forward a video but this was great start to finish. Well done.
Dem cats is weapons grade!
Man, that was great. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for posting!
Incredible… just amazing emotion and feel. Thanks for posting!
2 of the Best!
something about a dark "beloved dive" ( compliment) stage
environment.
Just watching the sound check gets me psyched for the show.
that first tune yep gave me the chills.
Nice job, Michael,thank you!

Beautiful. Evocative. Moving. You guys are taste personified.
Thanks for recording another great set, Michael! Always such a treat to hear them. So glad I got to see them at one of the Bitter End shows! Happy Holidays, everyone. 🍻

Thanks Mike. A pleasant suprise. This came up right after I watched Uncle Larry's last video and was hoping somebody had this. Thank you much.

well done
So bloody good ! Thanks for sharing this :)
Those boys❤
Jedd is Jackson Browne , Daniel Lanois and Vince Gill in one
Great lyrics man 🤙
Uncle Larry is like the janitor with the big key rig on his belt loop. He has all the keys to every lock. No prob. lol
Love it
So good
❤My Friedman’s❤ see you tomorrow night
Just got in my bed home from Nashville❤️
The crowd is so silent.
That's the sound of reverence
(Love emoji)
Is Jedd the best artist in Nashville?
Sounds like Simon waiting for Garfunkel.
What’s the song playing in the beginning???
Michael, I’m wondering if you know Tom and Jed personally? If not, I’m wondering why you have the ads on this video set to every five minutes?
I don't set any ads, probably because there was copyrighted material detected it's automatic
@ all right, I’ll let you off the hook this time. Thanks for posting, we all really did love the great music.
Thx for posting… Did Tom get up n play w The Cliffs at any point? (If so-any footage?)
No CLIFFS were on their own. I would post some footage, but it was so freaking loud I had to abandon the front row 😅 - they did sound great though
Cool… fyi Tom has some great footage on his channel of him producing a couple of their songs in the studio…
@@harrykerr4691 Yeah that livestream is really fun, they are having the time of their lives
hey uh you gotta little verb you could throw on that?
I'm trying to enjoy but too many commercials.
