Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser romantischen Srenade mit perfekt synchronisierten Töne aller Streicher. Der geniale Maestro dirigiert das ausgezeichnete Orchester im gut phrasierten Tempo mit angenehmer Dynamik. Einfach bewundernswert!

Kondrashin, i would expect nothing but perfection and with this master of classical music is exactly what you got, he understood his composers and the score and extracted from his orchestras the very best interpretations, no phony unwarranted gestures or being a spectacle just authentic, heart felt conducting that the orchestra and audience could appreciate,he deserved the title maestro.

Kondrashin, Sverdlov, etc the great conductors of the Soviet era. Requiescat in pace. May you rest in peace for here on Earth, you conducted symphonic armies of peace, overseen by angels!

I once heard the Moscow Chamber Orchestra play this and the tricks that they played were so enchanting that I actually burst out laughing. I have used them in all my performances since that day and wondered if they were used by other Russian orchestras. Now I know that they are - every one of them!

+Aaron Vaughn well Aaaron, I like Osawa, specially the introduction in the first movement but honestly I am not agree with a lot of his solutions in a lot of parts of the Serenade, I like much more Kondrashin and the russian guys really knows how to play their music in my opinion...

One of the most melancholy yet jubilant pieces ever composed by Man...Fitting that it should have been by a Russian, our national composer...

Encore mieux que Mravinsky - si une telle chose est possible....

He achieves wormer sound from the orchestra, whilst Mravinsky is a purist.
