    Don't forget to put your motor in gear as well. Otherwise you'll wear out your seals because your prop is not spinning in the water.

    I don't believe in motor sticks or any support where you out those sticks. That isn't taking any weight off the transom at all the best way for long hauls is a motor tote that connects to the trailer and to the lower unit. I split my transom on my skeeter using russel marines motor mount on the trim tabs. And after hitting a bump. Bam she was gone.

      Yes,this is only trim and tilt saver.Far from a transom saver...
