Julianne Moore was great in Maps to the Stars, but I really think that Marion Cotillard in Two Days, One Night (greatest neorealism performance of the decade) would make a better addition to this list of winners. Isabelle Huppert in the Piano Teacher makes the cut for a list of the top 10 performances delivered by actresses in film.

The jury messed it up. Portrait of a Lady on Fire should be at least awarded best actress if they had made their minds not to give it a Palme d'Or. Little Joe is excellent in film language, and the screenplay is also good. It should be awarded a Jury Prize or Best Screenplay.
