Aha..... i've watched about 4 of these Eufy videos tonight and everyone was great.... but sir... you have two very adorable dogs and a fantastic attitude!!! It appears that everyone loves the eufy better!! Me too. Thank you.
It has infrared sensors in the bumper, that's how it avoids most obstacles. This model does not map the room, it's just rolling around in a random pattern.
Received for Christmas! I love this toy, her name is Rosie, after the maid on the Jetson. It's amazing how much it picks up. It is very thorough.

Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
The Eufy won't do everything, but what I like the most is that the outer brushes will clean up the dog hair that gravitates to the baseboards and they can reach under cabinets, unlike a regular vacuum. I can also guide the Eufy with the remote control.

I think you're giving the programming and algorithms more credit than they deserve. And btw, teenagers make great Robotic-vacs.
It's hard to come up with good navigation algorithms for robots.
It's not a smart robot so it just travels randomly with no room mapping. But it still does a great job

It doesn't have any home mapping feature like you mention in the video, it just randomly bumps around. I have the 30C Max and I'm returning it because of that. While it does do a great job at picking up dirt, it just doesn't know where it has and has not been. You have to spend around $500 to get one with home mapping. For Eufy, the only model they have with mapping is the L70 Hybrid but I decided to go with the Roborock S6.

If you were out and set it to clean whilst out would it set off your house alarm?
I dropped mine and damaged the sensor. It still works fine.

How did you stick down your magnetic strips… I received mine today and the boundary strips do not have any adhesive on them. :(
