Ever since I fell in love with Eddie and the Cruisers, I've always wished I could have seen John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band and see the guys that really did all the wonderful music for the soundtracks. Oh yeah!
Gorgeous. I played a ton of guitars in my 55 years of performing, but SGs were definitely high on my list. I had one I bought around 1970 when my original Melody Maker was stolen. It had been painted with a paint brush and needed some repair. No point trying to be "vintage" so I had it refinished to a natural hickory look, added Grovers and had the neck repaired. Had that guitar for about 35 years and it disappeared. I believe I know what happened, but it's still painful to think about. I have a newer one that plays great, but just not the same. Nice job!
When my husband and were on the road with our band i danced with guys didn't mean a damn thing. We are retired now since 10/12/23. we have been married 45 yrs and still going strong don't take life so seriously or the time will pass you by. Have as much fun as you can while you can.
One thing every body seems to forget. He was a cool musician, before he could of not finished, tune, but money and truth matters to a real musician no matter how good the tune sounds ormoves the audience. The audience pays for music not jealousy.
I first heard this song on a broadcast of their 1st headlining tour from the Park West in Chicago (taped for WXRT radio). Was surprised it wasn't on the 1st soundtrack. Great tune
She made a really bad mistake dancing with that guy .... She didn't know how jealous Eddie was. Personally I wouldn't dance with another guy like that if I had a boyfriend..... WOW.
No it was just a friendly dance... Eddie's jealousy got in the way again.. I mean look at what and how he treated Frank word man ridgeway in the first movie!!
As long as you take sex appeal, beauty, charm, elegance, and personality out of the equation then this Diane chick is every bit the equal of Joann Carlino (Eddie's woman in the original movie).
That’s one of the only things didn’t fly . Eddie was so jealous , left Joann. Yet she gave the season in hell tars, the 2 starts 8 months later ( supposedly) Eddie went to sal to apologize but not Joann, still running for his car horn after 18-20 years. Was wrong
Ah hell naw!! His girl & the guy were doing way too much!! Eddie's behavior was justified, but that stay in the room business would have been too much for me!! Don't like controlling ass men!!😮😮😮😮
@Enzo James In an interview in 2014 with Michael Pare and Matthew Laurance, Matthew said Michael did the best job of lip syncing he has ever seen in both movies. I don't what these other commenters are smoking. I agree, it's Cafferty.
With all the debate on whether it was cafferty or pare' , what does it matter they sound alike this is a great freaking movie!!!!!!!!!!!! It was when it was made and it still is today!!!! Both movies are great! Screw the critics when have they ever been right?
The whole sound track is awsome❤
The Whole Thing I think is Sick!
Those films teach the key elements of music... with words spoken in between and the way music is played. A masterpiece on a musicians sight.
Wish this'll music would comeback 7×❤
I own this movie...for the music!!! As much as I enjoyed the flick, it's the music that brings me back!!!
love the saxophone in this awesome song!!
in the first movie, hes the sax player in beaver brown band i think
She was giving him the eyes, all on her. Great song, great movie.

They were killing it on the dance floor.

@@p.j.morris so, your husband likes your boyfriend? 😂
To each is their own
Exactly the way i saw it. He's busy making the music she wants to dance...she is essentially dancing with him...the no-name is the surrogate
It depends if its just dancing maybe it wouldn't bother me but if they were dancing productivity it would bother me
I loved this movie and music😊

Music is about feel. It doesn’t have to be complicated.
Kool movie - both of them!
Hilton over steet was the best sax player of all time
That's what I'm talking about!!!
I really dig this tune
I first heard this song on a broadcast of their 1st headlining tour from the Park West in Chicago (taped for WXRT radio). Was surprised it wasn't on the 1st soundtrack. Great tune
That guy is an exceptional dancer.
Love this scene__A little jealousy from Eddie
A great movie
Uhhh.....I've never seen people dance like that. But the music is great!
I have had a crush on Michael forever he is oh so sexyyy. the dress his gf had on i had those dresses in every color they made.
All HELL's about to break loose!😂
Got to see John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band live at the will they call it the dog house now they were great
Don't care about the drama but the music? The music ROCKS.
He's giving her the stink eye lol
Its a Movie. They are acting.
COOKING WITH GAS👍👍👍
She was definitely eyeballing that guy on the dance floor.....Eddie was right to get pissed
Of Course! Dancing is as intimate as Sex!
Michael para lets play one more time
Why would they be hanging out on the campus during spring break!?
White shirt.Danny Triviany.hope I spelled it right
Love eddie and the cruisers they are great so awesome❤
She was literally dirty dancing with that dude….
Hi
What a fabulous song from the movie
But what in heck what's with the sunglass does you tube know of this ?????
Nothing good ever happened when Eddie played at a college.
they always tryin' to steal his girl
haha
She made a really bad mistake dancing with that guy .... She didn't know how jealous Eddie was. Personally I wouldn't dance with another guy like that if I had a boyfriend..... WOW.

If I had a boyfriend that jealous it would be over.
It was just a dance
It is who 😊you come home with
You mean to tell me that when she was grinding her ass against his pelvic area, it was just a dance?
Uh oh! Problem!!😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Eddie should have realized, the highest tribute is when someone dances to your music. It was a college kid.
I would explode with anger if i saw my girlfriend dancing with another guy
Marina Orsini was and is an incredibly sexy woman. I fell in love with her in this movie, her character at least. Great lady.
She knew exactly what she was doing
This is a high school . What's Eddie thinking 🤔
I think it's college.
It's college, not high school. One of the band members even says, "I shoulda gone to college."
Diane looks just like my......ex.....oh, well....fun and frisky while it lasted...lol
It’s just a movir
Both of these movies were great movies. Critics suck!
As long as you take sex appeal, beauty, charm, elegance, and personality out of the equation then this Diane chick is every bit the equal of Joann Carlino (Eddie's woman in the original movie).
That is the making for spousal abuse
I wouldn’t say so a little jealousy I think is actually good or we wouldn’t have a jealous God

Frank was not innocent in the first one nor was Joann I would have shoved frank away and said no
Ah hell naw!! His girl & the guy were doing way too much!! Eddie's behavior was justified, but that stay in the room business would have been too much for me!! Don't like controlling ass men!!😮😮😮😮
I think if Eddie is a true portrayal ofJohn Cafferty then he could be very controlling to all around him.
So you think this is Cafferty. So wrong. Listen to voice and lyrics, compare.
It's Pare. He wanted to sing a song on this movie
I have talked to the guy that played the bass on the bar scene
Yes Pare actually sings all the songs.
@Enzo James In an interview in 2014 with Michael Pare and Matthew Laurance, Matthew said Michael did the best job of lip syncing he has ever seen in both movies. I don't what these other commenters are smoking. I agree, it's Cafferty.

That wasn't there best song. I don't like it, to much like Elvis wannabe
Eddie should have mopped the floor with that dude but he was too busy Rocking the hell out of that hall. Great music and decent movie
Made 2500 dollars a week.i didn't make that kind of money singing in Eddie and crusiers
I quit Eddie and the crusiers started driving a truck over the Road
Eddie needed to get Jealous to bad
