Those new type of shoes for kids with braces are so great. They didn’t have anything like that when my son was little. It was always a struggle to find shoes that fit over his braces. My granddaughter has had them for about 5 years now and it makes it so much easier to put them on and take them off and she is able to do it herself now.
Like everybody here all the best for Beckham ❤he is brave and tough thanks for sharing dear Rachel and for your family stay healthy my prayers for you all 🙏
He is amazing. Prayers that he continues to recover well and doesn’t have to have any more surgeries. I used to wear AFOs when I was a kid. They’ll feel a little funny to him at first, but I know he will be just fine. They will just take a little getting used to because they do indeed feel different than he’s used to but again he will be just fine. He’s a smart boy so he’ll figure out how to work with them.
Beckham is such a sweet little boy! ❤ He reminds me so much of a little boy I used to work with in physical therapy! Just a quick tip, it seems he is going backwards on the gait training device due to not feeling much support at his feet. He probably feels them a bit slippery. I would recommend some shoes over the AFOs for stabilization and comfort for the gait training device. Hope that helps!

Aww he’s so cute , and doing so good .. I’m so proud of him .. I watch all of y’all’s videos.. Must believe he’s going to walk one day ..
Rachel, Beckham is indeed a rockstar! He just keeps moving on. He is such a brave little guy❤️
Hunter reassuring Beckham is so sweet ❤
