Helping foreign friends understand the plot: 1. Monkey King is a character who fears no authority and dares to challenge the authorities and rules, whether they represent the government of the heavens (Tian Tian) or the religion of Buddha. He is fearless and only seeks freedom, kindness, and justice. 2. Monkey King was born from the leftover stone used to create the sky by Nuwa, one of the three creator gods of China, and is the purest form of power turned into a living being, so there is no force in the world that can completely kill him. 3. In the original story, he was imprisoned by Buddha (religious power) for rebelling against the heavens (the government of the gods) and later made a promise with Tang僧 to protect him and take him to Buddha to learn. However, because of his great strength and disobedience, he was tricked by Guanyin and Tang僧 into wearing a headband that tightens, with the agreement to remove it after fulfilling his promise with Tang僧. But in the game, Monkey King was tricked and the headband was not removed after fulfilling the promise. 4. Er lang is also a Chinese ancient deity, but he is not a formal employee of the heavens and does not hold a position. He belongs to the external armed forces. The reason is that his mother is the sister of the king of the heavens (the king of the heavens) and fell in love with a human and gave birth to him, so she was sealed forever in the Huashan Mountains. But the semi-god Second Emperor learned magic and became one of the strongest fighters in the story with his magic axe, splitting the Huashan Mountains to save his mother, but was still pursued by the Jade Emperor. In the end, he made an agreement with the Jade Emperor that he would serve as the Jade Emperor's mercenary and they would let him and his mother go. So in traditional Chinese culture, He mainly represents filial piety to his mother, loyalty to his friends, and great fighting ability.

He befriends Elder Jinchi of Guanyin Temple. His monster friends snake spirit and wolf spirit are also dressed as Taoist priests. When he saw a fire in Guanyin Temple, he rushed to put out the fire immediately. However, after seeing the Buddhist treasures and colorful cassocks, he became greedy, stole the cassocks, and prepared to hold a "Buddha Clothing Party". Sun Wukong asked for cassock twice but failed, so he turned to Nanhai Guanyin Bodhisattva for help. The two used tricks to defeat the black bear spirit. Guanyin saw that the black bear spirit had some moral integrity, so he subdued it with a golden hoop and brought it back to the South China Sea, where he became the guardian of the mountain in Luojia Mountain.( From Baidu Baike and google translated)
Read some of the comments but I think none mentioned about the Kasaya from Tripitaka. The bear was the guardian of the temple, the monk, Jinchi (which was the golden big head boss), became greedy for pretty kasayas, he went around collecting the prettiest ones and was proud of them. One day Tripitaka arrives with Sun Wukong and other disciples to the temple and Jinchi showed off his kasaya to them. Sun, being the big mouth he is, said that Tripitaka has the best kasaya and urged his master to bring it out. When Jinchi saw it, he was speechless and couldn't stop thinking about it. He then borrowed Tripitaka's kasaya as seen in the animation to admire it for just one night. Over the night, he realized that he couldn't bear to part with this kasaya so he came up with a plan to steal it. Can't remember what happened after that but the plan failed and resulted with his entire temple burning to the ground and many monks died along with him. He thus became the big head spirit boss, still looking for that one Tripitaka kasaya.

Jin Chi is a famous monk in the neighborhood, he helps many poor people around, but he is a greedy collector of Buddhism treasures, he saw the master's brilliant kashaya and lusted after it, and then his disciple, the wolf and the snake controller in the game, suggested that he should set the temple on fire to burn the master and the disciples to death, to leave the kashaya in his possession. Wukong uses his magic power to make the flames spread throughout the temple but only leaves the room where the Master are asleep. The fire grows large and attracts the attention of the Black Wind Guai, a black bear yaoguai who is a close friend of Jin Chi. The Black Wind Monster saves the kashaya from the fire. His friend Jinchi is desperate in the fire then chose to kill himself by hitting a pillar(here you can see why the boss has a headbutt as an attack). Sun Wukong used magic to change into Jin Chi's appearance to ask for the kashaya but was recognized by the black bear, so Wukong beats the black bear hard, after which this black bear was captured by the Bodhisattva Goddess of Mercy to be the gatekeeper of Mount Luo Jia because of his previous love of studying Buddhism.

★ This is the story of what happened at the end of chapter one: • It is said that long, long ago, a young novice monk wandered deep into the forest and unexpectedly encountered a colossal Black Bear Guai. Yet, contrary to expectations, the bear did not devour the monk but instead gifted him a sack filled with gold and silver. The bear then guided the novice to a secluded temple at the foot of the mountain. • From a young child, the novice diligently cultivated his practice and eventually became the revered abbot, leading hundreds of monks. He developed a profound passion for collecting kasayas (Buddhist robes), accumulating and wearing countless robes until he believed no other could possibly pique his interest. • One day, the abbot met Tang Sanzang, the master of Sun Wukong. Enchanted by Tang Sanzang's exquisite kasaya, the abbot borrowed it. Influenced by the cunning schemes of Guangzhi and Guangmou to steal the kasaya and burn Tang Sanzang's quarters, the abbot's long-dormant desires resurfaced. Consumed by greed, he set fire to the temple, causing the deaths of countless monks. The precious kasaya, however, fell into the hands of Black Bear Guai. Overwhelmed by grief and remorse, the abbot struck his head against a wall, ending his life. • Despite years of cultivation under the guidance of the Bodhisattva Guan Yin, Black Bear Guai remained perplexed. Why had the young novice resisted the allure of wealth yet succumbed to the temptation of a mere kasaya? • The Bodhisattva Guan Yin smiled and replied, "Without that kasaya, how could sentient beings discern whether their attachments and desires to the mundane world had truly been severed? - Because he was protected by Sun Wukong, Tang Sanzang slept soundly until morning, only to awaken and find the entire temple reduced to ashes. ★ This is the story of what happened at the end of chapter 4: • Tian Peng Yuan Shuai was deeply infatuated with Tai Yin Xing Jun. While persistently pursuing her, he accidentally bumped into Tai Yin Xing Jun's maid, Chang'e. From that moment, Chang'e fell deeply in love with him at first sight. One day, while spying on Tai Yin Xing Jun, he discovered a secret affair between her and the Jade Emperor. Upon being caught, he was banished to the mortal realm. • In the mortal realm, Tian Peng found love with a noble maiden in Gao family. Their union was blissful until a celestial decree transformed him into the swine-like creature, Zhu Bajie. • Chang’e, was banished to the mortal realm and transformed into a monstrous arachnid due to her forbidden affection for the mortal, Zhu Bajie. Upon their reunion, they kindled a passionate love, enduring until Zhu Bajie embarked on a pilgrimage to the West with the monk Tang Sanzang. Despite the passage of five centuries, during which she aged into a withered crone, Chang’e persisted in her unwavering devotion, awaiting Zhu Bajie’s eventual return.

Assuming the overall score for gameplay and artistry is 80, the artistry alone would score a perfect 100. This is more than just a game; it has transcended the boundaries of a traditional video game. However, I also understand that this aspect of the game may only be fully appreciated by Chinese players or those from regions with a strong Buddhist influence.

For those who don't quite understand, let me say that Sun Wukong can't be killed by any god or human or monster. This is his setting,Because he originally belonged to the stone left after Nuwa used to repair the sky. After absorbing the essence of heaven and earth, it transforms into a natural monkey essence, which does not belong to monsters, does not belong to gods, does not belong to Immortals don't belong to ghosts. This is the reason why he went to heaven and peed to Buddha, but he could only be trapped and could not be killed. God and Buddha had nothing to do with him. After it became a monkey spirit in the world, one day the little monkey in his monkey group died. He recognized death first time .In order to make the monkeys in his monkey group "eternal", it looked for a way to live forever. But in fact, he could live forever. He didn't understand it himself, but he still learned to find the Bodhisattva (Tao Teach) a lot of immortal methods, and then all this began. In the novel, Sun Wukong untied the golden hoop on his head after becoming a Buddha. Tang monk got the incomplete scripture, which is the end, but the game continued to write Journey to the West. Sun Wukong in the game was deceived by gods and Buddhas. The golden hoop on his head has not been untied, so he finally lost and turned into six parts, and finally he was resurrected by his reincarnated self.

★ This is the story of what happened at the end of chapter one:
• It is said that long, long ago, a young novice monk wandered deep into the forest and unexpectedly encountered a colossal Black Bear Guai.
★ This is the story of what happened at the end of chapter 4:
• Tian Peng Yuan Shuai was deeply infatuated with Tai Yin Xing Jun.
- Because he was protected by Sun Wukong, Tang Sanzang slept soundly until morning, only to awaken and find the entire temple reduced to ashes.

As a player familiar with Chinese culture, I would personally rate the artistic value of the first chapter at 100.

Does anyone know who the hanged wolf is at the third bell in the first chapter? (Where you get the fireproof mantle) I read the characters stories in the games journal and I thought it was the Elder Jinchi since it mentioned he killed himself after the fire plus the body disappeared after defeating him and the keeper says you freed the soul. But from reading other comments it seems elder jinchi wasn't a wolf so now I'm confused on who that was hanging outside the 3rd bell?

If your game progress is too rush with many secrets not found yet. The ending will be to defeat the remnant soul of the WuKong, replace the WuKong to achieve the new Buddha's position and become the new `WuKong'.However, after putting on the golden hoop, you gonna be the slave of the Heaven Court with restriction of the hoop like the beginning part.In the end, it would all in vain. Yep. For the WuKong always fought against the Heaven Court, you are the destined one chosen by the Gods to get his power and replace him.
And all the creatures along the game way can not escape their love and hate desires, either not avoid greed, anger, ignorance and not even let go of their obsession like a butcher's knife in their hearts. Even though they still desire to obtain Power and Immortality. Just like the players, some of You guys in front of the screen, who may only want to finish the game as fast as possible, but in the end, you have played for nothing. What you can do to avoid being the puppet of the Heaven Court to seek true freedom is seek the truth of the game with Parallel Spacetime(the game has inner parallel map to tell you the old story of what truly happened in the past).Go and find. Seeing is not believing in the first impression.

I’ve been watching all monkey king movies for a long time
