Mostly game sense, I think. Viper knows how to adapt like nobody else. Same with Daut really, he's slow as shit and doesn't practice, but he can still give top players a run for their money
Viper knows all this stuff and more, he just doesnt share it. Trust me im VERY far off from beating viper consistently. However i do hope that you can learn from what i do know and that it helps you in your games!

He has superior speed to *most players, but he also has game sense and decision making is second to none. He makes very few mistakes and is difficult to beat because of that. All of us do learn a lot from what you do thanks Hera. I know I myself learn a lot from your advice and tips and watch all your videos because of it. My game has improved a ton thanks to it
I watched almost all Twitch and TH-cam - AoE 2 - Streamers and content producers and in a maybe (feudal attempt ;-) ) to compare them all, you are by far the best to watch, if you (no matter your ELO right now) want to improve your gameplay! Thanx HERA for trying really hard to build something and help us noobs get better! You should open a school for young AoE 2 talents ;-).
I got a question tho: Why seeding 12-13 farms without horse collar? Wouldn't be a compromise better like 4-6 farms then horse collar and then seeding further?
What do you think about docking before lumber camp and to start cutting strangler trees? I recently tried it with Magyars or Malay (not sure), so I did not even have a bonus for that, but it still felt very strong to me. At some point I had to idle my dock a bit to get a lumber camp, though. I am around 950 elo
Can u make this build order with persians? Bec they are one of the best hybrit civ and their tc and docks works faster. So not sure to this maths works on them
It is always situation if he has a more than 3 scouts I'd say yea add a spear if you cant take a fight. Knights - you be better off to hide until you get crossbow and upgrades take the fight on small groups of knights. If he is massing knights camp home, wall up create spears. Then move out. If he has Magonels and knights. Or skirms and knights go hussar instead of spear.
Whats the deal with mongols being mentioned in hybrid maps instead of open land? Does hunting bonus help with shorefishing or something ? Did you misplace vikings and mongols?
hi, if i have easy deer to push, when is the recomended time to push? usually, i try to push one, after the second boar, to avoid crowd under TC in just one boar.
Their plumed archers are so cheap. Awesome unit. Cheap walls, longer lasting fast food, extra starting villager. El Dorado eagles, cheap archers. All of their bonuses and techs are great.

He does beat Viper sometimes. I remember in one tournament this year he best Viper but lost to Yo.

I would push as soon as possible, so your scout can scout the enemy earlier
