I was considering cannibalizing a part from another model, but the only one I can think of with a whip antenna is the Matchbox Chevy K10 Blazer that has been produced off and on since 1983. The fishing lead method will save all those Blazers from sacrificing their toy lives! Incidentally, a crimp tube that probably is also found in jewelry at Walmart would also work, just providing a different mounting shape. Regardless, thanks for tips!
