Where Did You Get Those Wheels From???
Thank you very much for the video and tutorial. I really enjoyed that. God bless you and your family. Duane.
good
There is no danger of the wheels sticking together and not turning?
Thanks for sharing this, Rick. Much appreciated. I was considering cannibalizing a part from another model, but the only one I can think of with a whip antenna is the Matchbox Chevy K10 Blazer that has been produced off and on since 1983. The fishing lead method will save all those Blazers from sacrificing their toy lives! Incidentally, a crimp tube that probably is also found in jewelry at Walmart would also work, just providing a different mounting shape. Regardless, thanks for tips!
You're welcome, glad it was of some inspiration for you
What size is the tension pin?
I no longer use the tension pins so I don't remember the size, I now just use aluminum tubing from the model section at hobby lobby. The size depends on you axel size. Hope that helps
Where do u buy the tension pins from
love the vid! but are you still alive?
Still breathing. I haven't been super active in diecast in a few years now, just started back customizing a few months ago. I post more on my @sic_diecast Instagram page
Thanks for showing your techniques! Subscribed.
Damn. I learned so much from this one video 😂. Thanks dude.
Awesome!
Great video! I’m definitely trying this!
Just found your Video! TY so Much! Ever Play Gaslands-game? I like my stuff to look Real and Nice!
Bruh!!! You forgot to muddy up the undercarriage and wheel wells! The body and wheels look absolutely amazing, like that rascal been mudding with the pedal mashed down to the floorboard all day long .... But the wheel wells & undercarriage look like he just rolled off the showroom floor! That would be the muddiest part of the truck!
Just bought the aluminum tubing from Hobby Lobby. Going to lift the rear axle on a Greenlight Starsky and Hutch. Thank you for posting this instructional video
i hope he's fine and well
Now thats how a moddeler hands should..some cuts and scar is a must lol

Very nice guide thanks my dude.
Great video with some great tips. I do content on rare and premium diecast cars and trucks maybe you might want to check it out and we can trade subs to help each other out. Thanks for sharing
Nice work thanks for sharing. Hope life works out for you man!
Where you got the machine
Are you able to make working suspensions❓🤔
Yes, I just dont alot of times because I just use them as display, so the extra time and cuss words are a waste in my opinion. Working suspensions are cool, dont get me wrong, bit I just feel that for what I do with my trucks it's a waste of energy
Do you let little kids play with these cars once you fix them up? Or are they only a static display for you.
They can roll and all function as supposed to but, no not for kids to play with
Just subbed, about to check out some of your other videos!! Good luck with growing your channel. Did you ever look at zmsocial”dot”com!!? I think it would really help you grow your channel!
Dont let GF slow down your hobby LOL
Great video bro!!!
Years later and still worth watching again
Great video
A q tip and the real small bit from the dremel set by hand with fingers and you have an axle tube, yes a q tip. Start the hole with a sewing needle.
Or you can use the q tips with plastic shafts. You can use old ink pen tubes too, the tubes that house the ink
@@sicdiecast2038 Thank you SIC diecast never thought of the plastic ones.
Great info!
Ric! Where you been brother? Good to see you're still alive man, hope you don't wait another year before making another video. Merry Christmas buddy
