@lxstlxnelybxy pixel 3 imo is ok , personally i like it having the finger print reader on the back , and photos are still quite good , no gimmicky bullshit , just a decent straight up phone.

@@MiguelRamirez-ie4yu We have one in the lab (I work in telecom) and also had a Pixel 2 XL as my secondary phone for a long time (The last good one they made). Anyway I had the pixel in my pocket for a couple days and my S10+ went right back in, along with 11 Pro Max.

Amen! I'm a Pixel 2XL user about to upgrade this Black Friday and am probably switching to Apple or Galaxy note because of reliability and Apple has integrated Google functions and apps well, now. And 4k 60fps on Apple is a winner for me. Camera quality and display is key for me.

yea but to be honest, saving something on a google phone or any phone, is not 100%secure also. everything connected to the internet is accesible. EVERYTHING. so you should put your data offline on a seperate disk or somewhere to be 100%sure .but yea it might be a bit more secure on the device itself than on another server somewhere in the cloud. i mean people talk about secure data but those are the first, which use 100 different social media platforms, giving them all private data for free. using gmail or other email providers giving more data for free....so :D

Watching this video on the pixel, left it to take a call, reopen TH-cam which is a Google app - boom - refresh. As flossy says - RAM management is TRASHHHHHH!
so... my $750 s10e(only $350 after s9 trade in) with 4k60, wide angle camera, 8gb ram, 256gb storage(with space for sd card), wireless charge, headphone jack, that came with a otg and headphones is looking pretty good right now.
I always get worried buying a phone early in the year.
I can't see myself buying this phone in this day and age at that price with those stats...terrible....
same here , Google phones have some good points , but basic features like no headphone jack , no sd card is an absolute fail in my book.
it doesn't matter if other phones do not have these features ,
but Google being the "android king" should at least lead by example and have the core basic features .

I just got the 11 Pro Max after having the Nexus 5/6/6P Pixel 2 XL/3 XL. Google stopped earning my money with the 2 XL but I tried the 3 XL for a few months. Nope. I'm done for now. I'll see Google later.

Really I don't know of ANY reviewers that had anything good to say about it resulting in a "recommend"...I've owned (not just bought, OWNED for a long time), every Pixel to date. Got the P4XL yesterday afternoon and it went back in the box for return this morning.
Honestly, it looks like a solid IT guy work phone, minus that battery life..mm just thought of that. We're sporting S9s right now, kinda want to mix it up with this 4, I was squeezing that trigger till the battery just popped in my head.

I just want to let you know that your reviews are TOP NOTCH. After listening to hours/days of reviews on the 4 XL, I canceled my preorder for the 128gb Orange 4 XL. I was lucky enough to catch the regular Pixel 3 on Google Store with $400 off w/student bean discount. I have a samsung s10 plus and so does my wife and we live in South Korea right now because we are stationed here for military assignment, but fortunately we have family who can ship us the google phones from the states to the APO address. We decided to sign onto Google Fi since our friend has it and he had good stuff to say about it. I SO wanted the google pixel 4 XL at preorder, but decided to get the Pixel 3 instead as our second phone to work with Google Fi while stationed abroad and while traveling internationally. You saved me $1000+!!! I made a thoughtful decision to not pull the trigger on buying the 4 XL based on hype and just get the pixel 3 as my second phone for work and also get one for my wife. The samsung s10 plus is serving us well. If google pixel 4 XL drops in price for black friday like $200-$300 off, then i may bite to use that as my Google Fi phone or my main phone to use while in Korea. We'll see, but I'm excited for the pixel 3 (non-xl) to come in the mail!
