JB, did you really say the SLT was a work truck grade? Are you becoming an average white girl?? 😂 In all seriousness what difference does it make if one feature is an option and one is standard when both have the feature and one cost $10,000 less. So that by default makes the higher trim not worth it.
I think if you’re keeping the truck for a while, the SLT is the best value for a few reasons. You save money on the purchase price. The chrome bumper may hold up better for rock chips, etc on the highway. The Denali may have a better resale due to buyers wanting the premium top of the line model. For me it’s the SLT all day cause it has enough features!
Get a 3500 SLT. Put on aftermarket wheels and tires. Add AEV bumpers and delete the chrome. The 3500 payload can handle the AEV bumper weight. Down side, AEV bumpers won’t be available until the end of summer.
I got the SLT 3500HD gas long bed with SLT premium package, X31, body color wheel arch moldings, dual alternators and batteries, high idle switch, multipro tailgate, HD front springs, volcanic red tintcoat. I love it!
@@owen33333 Nice. Thanks. I'm probably going in next month. This'll be the first GMC I've ever owned. The company I work for gets a 5% discount on GM vehicles, so bye bye Ford.
On the older models at least I found that the Denali had the lane departure warning which I really like. There may be some of the other button functions that are missing on SLT models as well.
Also speaking of potentially getting a bench seat w SLT, u do not get wireless phone charging in the center console whereas if bucket seats u do get wireless charging.
Great comparison! It would be curious to know what the actual out-the-door price difference would be for these two trucks. Is the dealer or manufacturer giving greater or lessor deals on one or both of these.
This is a good comparison video. Im taking slt all day. Denali way too boujie. Hell i think this particular slt is over equipped. I would be happy with a few less of the unnecessary options. I just can’t ever get on board with buying a “luxury” pickup that costs what they do.
Love the content pulled the trigger finally on a 2500 zr2 slate Grey blacked out, I think you would approve, the only thing you wouldn't approve of is its a gasser but hey I'm only towing about 30 times a year at max so hopefully it will be OK. Love the at4x but for the money fell the zr2 was smarter but.... even though none these are a smart buy at the moment
I pulled the trigger too same spec ZR2 HD in SG. It was 9k difference on the AT4X HD. the only difference is massaging seats, front parking sensors, the kicker tailgate speaker, and the 13 speaker vs the 7 speaker bose system. The ZR2 is much meaner looking IMHO.

Next, he will be reviewing Stanley cups lol! Just kidding JB!

That’s what I’m looking at but just going to do wheels and tires. It has basically everything I want

How much did you pay? I’m thinking of buying the same thing. Same color actually too. 👍🏻

I got the same truck, but in metallic red. $82100 out the door.
I think most people are buying the Denali for the grill and the name plate. Not worth it.
Just bought a 2024 3500HD SLT dually with the premium package... absolutely loaded!!!
Do you wish you got the Denali sometimes?

Depends what you’re buying it for. Both nice trucks!

Wow awesome GMC 😊 keep in mind 360 camera and solid gearbox plus resale value pretty high

Looks like you couldn’t go wrong with either one!
Both are awesome trucks, but I prefer the Denali & Ultimate look more!
0:38 the SLT is a 2500 HD and has the optional max tow package.
Good video JB.
Compare the High Country and the LTZ sport edition.
Great looking truck !
Were you drinking the Panera charged lemonade?😂💀
That SLT is sitting slightly higher than the Denali
Denali for status.
SLT for working mans truck
Not true. I use my Denali for work
@TanNerD2121 right, if it's paying for itself, why wouldn't you 🤷
I’m going with SLT 2500.
The Denali console is terrible. What a useless layout with the brake controller taking up space. The tiny little storage spots are worthless.
Just get an AT4, folks.
Not suited for everyone’s personalities though
Dude the new AT4 HD is 138k
@@MMikeHD3904 Where, in Canada? Even the AT4X AEV 2500 with the Duramax isn't that much...
@thunderhorse689 I'm BC , and guarantee the AT4X HD is 138k, my brother in law has 21 AT4 HD, and just priced a 25 AT4X HD
@@MMikeHD3904 That makes sense if you're in Canada. It's still stupid-expensive in the US as well.
None of these trucks are “really” worth it but idiots keep buying them lol.
That's because we can afford it and you can't. Get a life, you dense, selfish prick.
I got 21 Denali HD, and 15 Z71 3500 gasser, the gasser makes me 2200 bucks a month so wasn't a very hard decision
