The commentary IS the race
This race was one of the most humorous I've watched. Great script writing, perhaps the mysterious Susan is involved when she's not busy with the waivers. The racing here is fun but the commentary puts this channel in another league.

If you ever feel that your job is meaningless, always remember that someone is actually installing blinkers in BMW factory.
"No he did not use his blinker at all!"... I knew it was coming, the suspense was killing me!
3D could be right about the echo location. Since blind people can't see, the neurons in their brain normally controlling sight go to the other senses, heightening them. There is a click technique that blind people can be trained to use to locate stuff with their heightened hearing and feel.
That convertible tho. Nice to see they survived that crash.
This is the kind of commentary that will make *anyone* fail a "Try Not To Laugh" challenge.

Thanks, but I believe the advantage lies with the Bichon leading the blind. Those ultra hot wheels help a bit as well.
By the way, I think the condition of Mr. Stein is called torticollis. That's probably why he has the dog with him to assist him. They make a great team.

That was a Swift pass. I grew up in Jersey where using a blinker was just a sign of weakness so these cars are fine.

I remember the suggestion that there be a larger Peanuts presence on this channel. There was a mention of having Woodstock but maybe perhaps Snoopy asked for a good friend Lily to make a less high (profile) appearance...not that top-heaviness prevented the upside down condition, anyway.

Any race with Frank Stein is going to be a good one. I was surprised at the lack of comment about Frank and Lily's amazing comback in the last race to capture second.
Frank won because of a brilliant move in the Final race. He gave Katie a HUGE bump draft coming out of turn 2, then drafted her the rest of the way. If not for that, Katie would have been out, Frank would have come in second, and Dr. Jim would have won this round. Smart racing from the dog lover.
If 3D ever actually makes a Greatest Passes of the Year video, the one at 4:39 should be in it.

love this channel. you guys do a great job. one minor criticism. the track has humps in the surface coming out of the turns which cause the cars to bottom out and turn into the fence. is this design intentional? do you want them to turn sideways like that? I think the racing would be much better if they didn't bottom out. would you consider smoothing those humps out? thanks!

Frank Stein put the top down before the 1st race and then put it down - on the track - after the race. Consistent.
Given that Frankenstein's creature was almost blind, I'm going to guess that our Frank Stein is as well. Having a safety helmet on his dog was a nice touch as well. Just have to wonder if Lily signed Frank's waiver.

Blinkers are definitely not optional on BMWs. It comes with the built-in right of way, but the left blinker is only working on German Autobahn.

You said nothing about Frank Stein making the pass for 2nd in the last race. If he doesn't make that pass he doesn't win 1st place overall and you have a 10 to 10 tie for 1st overall in this round. I think that's as noteworthy as Katie Swift's pass for the win in that race giving her 2nd overall in this round.
