    Meanwhile in Spain, Sagrada Família is still under construction since 1882 :)

      Unfortunately, not all projects require the same amount of research and time. From an architectural perspective, the Sagrada Familia and all the historical projects need a lot of research to make it right, it's not an easy task compared to modern constructions. But is a very good appreciation, thank you for your comment! ☺

    It's absolutely stunning! But its implications, as you mention in the video, for the future of building in a more sustainable manner, are really fascinanting. Thanks for sharing!

    "China is redefining what’s possible! 🚀 The speed and precision at which they build is mind-blowing-literally raising skyscrapers in days! 🏙 This is more than construction; it’s a glimpse into the future of global innovation. 🌍💪 #NextLevelEngineering"

      Thanks for your comment! As architects who have worked and lived in Qingdao, China, we’ve seen both sides of the coin. While there are definitely things we didn’t like, we were also impressed by the speed and innovation in many aspects of their construction. No system is perfect, but it's always interesting to learn from different approaches!

    China is another level. I think if any of the biggest building companies in Spain has this ammount of machinery, not just to use in one single project, but in their whole inventories.

      "Totally agree! The sheer scale and resources they have are unreal. They’re taking construction to heights we can barely imagine!

      "Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Speed certainly has its challenges, and quality is key. China's rapid construction is impressive, but maintaining high standards is just as important. It's all about finding that balance! 😊"

    Fast going up and fast coming down. As Bloomberg Business Week reported back in 2012, Chinese buildings constructed at this rapid pace often have only half the lifespan. It's not safe or sustainable.

      Thank you for your comment. In our video, we focus on presenting factual information about the construction techniques and technology used. While it's true that rapid construction can sometimes raise concerns about safety and sustainability, these techniques can also be applied in ways that prioritize long-term durability and quality. Of course, not all buildings in China are constructed this way, and there are many examples of innovative, sustainable projects that balance speed with safety and longevity.

    But, but, but, can they make a TH-cam-like site that has the simple option to shut off the incessant background rumble/music that quickly drives many viewers away to other videos that allow you to listen and watch in peace?

    • @SkylineChina
      @SkylineChina  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Indeed it would be a nice feature for TH-cam to have. But as a reference for us to improve, do you think the background music is too loud? Thank you for your input!

    • @rswow
      @rswow หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SkylineChina Incessant music is usually a turn off for me and many others. Music selected and placed now and then (not incessantly) to match the currently playing theme could, like in the movies, work. But apt selection and placement takes extra effort. Not-loud serene select incessant music does work well in some videos, but mostly I've found it not to.
      Otherwise, a silent background is great, especially in educational videos where we come to learn with focus and enjoy the natural sounds and narration; if we wanted music playing all the time while learning, we could do so at home and with our own choice of it.

    Tofu dregs buildings, fall apart and are worth nothing.
    This video is propaganda

      @SkylineChina  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your input. The video is meant to highlight the rapid pace of construction in China, but we understand there are concerns about quality and safety. Our goal isn't to promote any particular viewpoint, but to spark discussion and awareness on both the positive and challenging aspects. We appreciate your perspective-these conversations are important!

      @@SkylineChina More like gaslight me and others into false hope, how are new cities developments utterly empty of your buildings are so great. They are not and I can provide proof within you tube listings.
      Please do not try to spread false fact. Yes china build its buildings in seconds, within weeks the are in danger of killing everyone in the fall down area. Women children at risk .
      Dont lie in other words , the buildings fall down and part quickly and you know it since the demise of evergreen.
      Thanks for your input but I have told you tube not to recommend a channel that is CCP propaganda.
