Not possible for any other result but a win. Cardiff looking like relegation material. Bielsa was godlike to most of us. No manager, at least in my lifetime, has come close. Exception maybe being Wilkinson. God I miss Bielsa’s football.

Wilkinsons brand of football was a little stale, I got into watching Leeds in the WIlkinson years. I think our greatest period before Bielsa was O'Leary's reign, its just a shame it was fouled up by Ridsdales financial mismanagement arrogance. We pretty much limped on from that point. Some bright moments under Grayson, that FA cup game at Old Trafford, but hopefully those days will return to our shores once more.
Solomon is a doubt, doesn't mean he's out for months, doesn't even mean he'll miss the match. The injury that kept him out last season was knee-related and now it's a back injury. Plus we have a ready- made replacement waiting in the wings (literally). It may even turn out to be a positive because Ramazani looks really lively

Connor, just to put something right. After a win, many people praise the players, probably too much as they look rather silly if we lose the next game, and the manager hardly gets a mention, fair enough i suppose, but the if we lose, the manager is at fault, and we hear about it all week !!, even after missing good chances and letting sloppy goals in, PLAYER ERRORS !!!
What we have to look at first, after every game, is how each player has performed, have we missed good chances, have we let in sloppy goals, are players making schoolboy errors etc, If the players are faultless then the manager must take all the blame. In any team winning any league, the players have to be nearly faultless in most games !!

It’s not that he “has it in his locker to break down a low block”, we did exactly that in over 75% games last season. Against Burnley’s low block we still created SEVENTEEN chances. FOUR on target…
Personally I don’t think criticising Farke is a meltdown. He needs to up his game and he deserves some of criticism being sent his way. But fans calling for him to be sacked are in full meltdown mode and need to go for a walk.

Just to clarify the Farke/Bielsa talk this week, the same moaning about the same thing, form a certain few, was exactly the same at the start of Bielsas promotion winning year, winning league by 10 points, as we all know. The Blackburn Police will have good intelligence and know that if Blackburn give us the whole end which is about 7k there is a bigger risk as there will be 5k unkowns on top of our regular 2k allocation thats hoovered up by bald and old away season ticket and 20+ loyalty brigade.
That extra 5k is a younger higher risk group and many prefer the white stuff to lots of real ale in Weatherspoons during their pre game entertainment.

Also, having a versatile player like Ampadu is not a bad thing here- hes also not been great in midfield so far so🤷🏼♂️

Hes never really been prolific in front of goal. Think he has just over 100league goals and hes 31. He offers more to the team than Piroe and probably the same as Joseph RIGHT NOW. With a bit more game time im sure Joseph will eventually go on to be a top #9.
But imagine if you were Bamford listening to all the content creators slagging him off, day in day out, which then spurs on general fans to give him dogs abuse. Id kick the ball into touch every time and think fuck you and collect my 40kp/w that so many people are crying about.

Bamford came back after a long term injury last season and scored like 6/7 in 10 games.
Joseph has been doing exactly what Bamford would have done. I agree that Josephs ceiling is far higher. He needs to start putting chances away though, he should probably have 3 or 4 if we are being honest with the chances hes had.
But Bamford isnt finished, you and i would both rather him start than piroe.
Why would bamford kick the ball into touch , he would want to shut the fans up by trying hard and scoring goals

Simple job to sort out police issues and reduce the police charges is to ban all away fans from Elland Rd. Yes our own fans who travel in huge numbers won’t like this as other clubs will ban Leeds fans…… yet a lot of clubs won’t as they like our fans cash. It would mean a reduced police charge which is significant and free up a lot more home tickets which won’t need segregation

I think we have a very average squad. We have nothing up front. Jospeh just doesn't have it. His previous club would not have let him go if he did.
We signed him as a youngster. It's hard to judge how players will develop at that age

I often try to watch your very thorough updates, but when you use the Lord's name in vain, "Jesus Christ!" That cuts to the heart and I have to turn off, as a Christian can't justify to the Lord why he watches for entertainment or whatever, a programme of a person committing one of the greatest of sins.

ive had lots of football injuries and this is what happens, you will get other niggles etc, off the back of being out for a long tome , it always happens and this was always the huge risk with Solomon , for me it was never worth taking the risk when there was other targets out there like Salai for example !
