Hi, I have 29 Guinea pigs.
Broccoli, Brownie, Butter, Cappuccino, Choco, Coco, Coconut, Cookie, Cheese, Dumpling, Kiwi, Latte, Lion, Mango, Marshmallow, Mochi, Mozzarella, Muffin, Oreo, Pancake, Peach, Peanut, Potato, Puppy, Tofu and Walnut.
Baby Guinea pigs Snow, Pistachio and Pumpkin.
Hi, some people ask me about the bottles for the babies.
I kept them in a hutch separate for 5 days because the babies are too small and needed extra care. I put 2 bottles very low so they can reach in that hutch they were staying.
I filmed this video only for an hour so I didn’t hang water bottle low for them.
Now they are staying with other Guinea pigs all together and I put water bottle low for them.
I care all of my Guinea pigs so much.

That one young one does look like he has a vest on! They are so adorable - love watching them popcorn! Such curious babies. Which one is mama?
Their mama is the white one with the dark dot on her head. Her name is Coconut. There is also self-white Guinea pig in the herd, named Marshmallow.

I checked their genders and Snow is a only girl 😭 Other 2 boys can’t stay with me very sad😢😢

Do you have lower water bottles so the babies can reach? I remember I had to lower a couple of mine when my babies showed up because they were trying to drink on day one even though they were nursing from mama (and trying to nurse from everyone in their house as well! LOL). The babies were so hilarious blending in. No one was particularly aggressive toward the babies, which is good. One time I had to separate mama and babies from the mama's sister because she was just being mean to the babies. It is rare. I have had herds where it was 2 mamas a few babies and sisters and they all got along and took care of the babies together.

My pigs are still with mom since they are months old. However I’m concerned because the pet store they are at here isn’t the best.
They are not as educated on pig care as I feel they should be having a pig with her pups…

I just wanna know is it safe to not feed mom alfalfa hay at all during this time? I don’t believe she was fed any alfalfa hay… additionally I know weaning is usually around 6months… I’m getting 2 of these babies in a few days and I want to provide best possible care…
Given they haven’t had appropriate nutrition (only pellets mainly) what can I do to introduce these safely and for the pigs in a healthy way. I don’t know since they are little

You’re getting two lil babies?
Alfalfa hay is good for babies under 5-6 months old. Older than that age better feed timothy or oaten hay.
Guinea pigs weaning within a month. Babies learn social communication and everything in first month.
The babies are months old now then it’s good to separate mom.
There are pellets for baby Guinea pigs. First few months supply the pellets with vegetables and hay. I supplied baby pellets for 3-4 months.
Give them fresh vegetables everyday avoid sweet fruits.
They will be happy with you because you already care about them so much. Happy baby Guinea pigs 😊

I wasn’t sure if not supplying them or mom with alfalfa was bad or not? I guess in pellet form yes. Not sure.
