I love the idea of this weapon, this was the first weapon I leveled up to relic and I was utterly disappointed to see how it underperformed, the time to kill is insanely long and I am not touching this thing unless the devs at the very least double the damage
I agree. The same thing is true for the all bolt guns unfortunately. All are very underwhelming. They will get to buffing them eventually though I am sure
sucks that this weapon is so weak no matter what build or perks you want to go with. its a FUN weapon and it feels fantastic to use but its just not the "best Bolt" rifle hopefully the Devs Buff it a bit spending 30 rounds (headshots) might add you to an elite to put them into execute mode is ridiculous imo. if you have a relic it feels strong at sub and lover difficulties other than that i feel like im dead weight in ruthless Difficulty. Gnade bolt rifle is just too good right now and melta is just braindead lol
I am honestly trying not to use the Melta. It just make the game braindead easy tbh. You make a fair point though. All the bolt guns feel very underwhelming on diff 3 and 4. They will get to buffing them soon though I am sure
@@Weedon_ i sure hope so. They are so fun to use. I only use thea melta when i have friends that need a carry thru ruthless. Other than that i use bolt weapons to give myself a challenge. Im literally just waiting on new contnet. I have all weapons maxed relic and classes maced and fully armor unlocked 20 20 20 on armory and 990 on currency+ heraldy fully completed. So i just play to help other i guess.
@@novaDF6871 The classes i like i have maxed out. I am just levelling up weapons atm. I love using the bolt rifles though. Still got a few bit to get in heraldry too
If you zoom when u aim. you get less recoil and a tighter spread (more accurate). So when you are trying to be accurate make sure to zoom. it helps a lot

I personally like the instigator bolt carbine for the vanguard the best. Also, the Stalker Bolt Rifle is very powerful.
The instigator isn't bad. Love me a full auto though. Heavy has some good stopping power too
@@Weedon_ well what we can agree on tho is that the occulus is terrible, and the fast shooting bolt carbine version needs some serious buffs aswell.

How do you have no recoil?
If you zoom when u aim. you get less recoil and a tighter spread (more accurate). So when you are trying to be accurate make sure to zoom. it helps a lot
