56' Pontiac 316 cylinder head freeze plugs, transmission seals, gaskets and paint!!!

Engine gets cleaned, I take apart the dual-range hydramatic Taurus to replace front pump seal. The engine and transmission get put back together. Brand new factory fresh engine bay lol and transmission gets painted.

Don't blame you about waiting until next year to paint the engine. I'd want to get it up and running so I can enjoy it now also. Fix the little things this year so that next year all you have to work on is painting the engine. Great video as always.

In the future, look for an original 4 barrel manifold. When you reseal the engine, it would be the time to install it.

After riding in Craig's starchief I definitely want a 4 barrel!

Paint the engine turquoise as factory color ($30.?). It will be easier to see any leaks. Looks like the block is now black. It must of been rebuild at some point.
