Seems like a cool app! Cutting out guitars or bass works great. But when I delete vocals or drums lots of mids seem to be cut out as well. So a section with no vocals (or drums) sounds pristine while the altered section sounds kinda muddy. It would be great if you made a possibility of equalization/filtering of sections which remain unchanged
Not that EES is wrong but Eloy can play so much more than metal. Look at his work on Casagrande and Hanysz. He's not just the best metal drummer he's one of the best drummers period.

Eloy was just interviewed by a reporter from Warner music in Brazil and said that this video was the one that got his foot on the door. He said that Clown watched it and compared to other musicians covers and his was the one that was more precise about timing, and that he knew when to play faster or slower, just like the original. Eloy mentioned that after he had already learnt the song, he still practiced it for a month before taping this video, in order to get really comfortable playing it, and three or so years later, that got him to be interviewed for the job.
The difference between normal people and Eloy is that after a song like this, normal people would ask for a break. In Eloy's case, the drums ask for a break...

Agreed. How he's able to hit that hard, with such precision, at such high tempos is astonishing. If you haven't already, check out Eliot Hoffman from Car Bomb. He's an alien, leagues above not just the tech metal guys, but... many other top fusion guys that are 'hall of famers'. Criminally underrated player imo but the music is very extreme and niche so I'm not surprised.

Chris is amazing, I don't get why to compare them. Completely different backgrounds. Eloy hits ages harder than CT and with his Latin root he explores grooves with a huge diferent perspective. They are both on the top of the top, comparing gets nonsense.

My point about triggers is that triggers main function is to replace a sound that might be low on volume or badly recorded/played. Therefore the fact that there is a trigger on Eloy's bass is irrelevant cause it's not being used by it's natural function. He most likely is using the MIC function only. I've been inside of a recording studio with Eloy playing a few metters from me. Srsly, even tho I was like, 8 metters away from the drum kit I could still few the air coming through the gap of the bass drum head. I've never seen anything like that. We it wasn't only power, was a precision that is almost inhuman. And just to be clear, Eloy said to me himself that there are some aspects of drumming that he knows little about. In that regard I think CT has way more on his repertoire than Eloy. But when it comes to groove, brutallitly, crazy patterns... Eloy is the best there is. Slipknot is a groove metal band and has Sepultura as one of their biggest influences (Eloy was on Sepultura for 13 years). Anyways, I'm a big fan on CT, as mentioned previously and when comparing them what "jumps" the most is the "who is worst", and imo that is worthless. They are both gods at this shit.

5 of 9 of the members from the era of the band we all know and love are still there. 2 have passed, I still stand by the fact that Craig willingly left and retired, and yes Chris was an unfortunate situation, but all bands have those scenarios. I've been speculating that Eloy might be for a couple months now after Jay left and Sepultura announced the farewell tour it was an obvious choice. There are other drummers sure, but come on Eloy is a beast, they'd be crazy not to have him on the kit.

The only reason Slipkots set lists was so limited over the last few years is because it would a whole gang of mother-drummers to be able to play certain songs. Filling Joey's shoes is not easy, but i dont think we have worry about that anymore. I think my brother here has got this now.

I disagree, a professional drummer is suppose to have the ability to make every member of that band stand out, knowing when to play hard, when to play quiet and when to make other instruments shine just like Joey did in the band. I see absolutely no reason why he couldn't fit into slipknot but for me personally I'd rather see el estepario siberiano in it.

5 of 9 of the members from the era of the band we all know and love are still there. 2 have passed, I still stand by the fact that Craig willingly left and retired, and yes Chris was an unfortunate situation, but all bands have those scenarios. That’s just being in a famous band for ya. He seems very happy these days anyway. and even Jay just landed a huge gig, so I think everyone is perfectly fine👌

Eloy é a evolução viva da bateria. Resistência, precisão absurda, pegada nível sayajin god, técnica monstra, feeling extraordinário, double bass rápido e com punch sinistro. Maluco é o melhor desse instrumento, não adianta falar que não existe "melhor" na música.

I've been speculating that Eloy might be for a couple months now after Jay left and Sepultura announced the farewell tour it was an obvious choice. There are other drummers sure, but come on Eloy is a beast, they'd be crazy not to have him on the kit.

The only reason Slipkots set lists was so limited over the last few years is because it would a whole gang of mother-drummers to be able to play certain songs. Filling Joey's shoes is not easy, but i dont think we have worry about that anymore. I think my brother here has got this now.
He plays the songs verbatim to the original too. It’s fucking awesome and I’m so happy he’s in the band now

This is the benchmark song. I remember when Jay first joined I watched a live video of this and he was off on the kicks. He eventually got better but looks like this guy already has it nailed.

Someone like him will never be hired by Slipknot even when they are probably still looking for a drummer at the moment. he will simply take away all the limelight from the entire band if they ever hired him. what a drummer !! had the pleasure of watching this guy live once !
I disagree, a professional drummer is suppose to have the ability to make every member of that band stand out, knowing when to play hard, when to play quiet and when to make other instruments shine just like Joey did in the band.
I see absolutely no reason why he couldn't fit into slipknot but for me personally I'd rather see el estepario siberiano in it.

My God I've never been so into the drums of any songs like I am now that I have checked Eloy out and really never was all into slipknot but I've been trying to see what they are about and found some stuff that is good but damn this man can drum his ass off
