I only use it in higher gears going fast without using full throttle. It’s very smooth then.

I've talked with one technician who is expert on sports bikes, he told me don't use quickshifter on low revs (loaded engine) use it only above 6k rpm because you will damage your gearbox.

I have'nt had much success with smooth QS changes in the lower gears, but find it's great both up & down in the higher ones, i find like others the higher the gear and more speed the better. i've only used soft mode since i got it in march, so i'll give medium a shot, and maybe need to practice a bit more in the lower gears as i no longer try use it in them. Thanks.

Not sure if it's just me, but it seems the amount of force (speed of pressing the shifter) also impacts the smoothness. It's always smooth when i get the shifter lined up with a certain part of my toe

Yes, absolutely, that's why I'd always never recommend the soft mode for the quick-shifter as it encourages you to not fully commit to pressing hard enough on the shifter.

@@RevAndRideWithChaz Interesting, Is it better to switch to medium or hard?

@@MotoHowi I've not tried hard, I may do next time I'm out. Medium seems to work great!

Great help thanks. I didn't understand how to use the quick shifter. So basically upshifting there's no need to close the throttle while downshifting I need to close throttle correct? I subscribed, and gave u thumbs up thanks
P.s. can I continue downshifting with throttle closed. For example going from 5th to 4th to 3rd to 2nd to 1st? Thanks again

Sorry for the late response, yes, you're correct! As long as you have the throttle closes, you can downshift as many time as you want.
